There wasn’t a single piece in here that was 8” all of the hair is very very short. A bunch of scrap pieces.

Received the package and it felt smaller than I thought it should at first, but after taking off the netting the hair spread. I did wash the hair before use and I believe that helped it spread out even more. The hair came natural black, I believe 1b. But I did dye some of it jet black for what I'm using it for. The dye took great! I. Very happy with my purchase and for human hair you honestly cannot beat the price. Iwill be shopping again! Hope this helps :)

I like this hair. It's softer than what I'm used to but it got the job done. I do believe it's human hair. I just didn't like that the bulk of it were just small pieces of hair. The pieces weren't 8 inches or anywhere near but I was hand making locs so I made them work.

Idk why the reviews are so low; if you plan on using this for braiding , this is not what you should buy. I think this is strictly for repairing locs, not sure what else it can be used for. I had a couple locs that were thinning, I wrapped this hair around them and crocheted it. The locs are now thick and healthy! I didn’t wash the hair beforehand because I was lazy and didn’t feel like waiting for it to dry ; I’ll wash it later. However it did not match my locs exactly (as expected) so I bought some hair dye to even it out. 10/10 would recommend.
