My 7yo had a blast
Our 7yo really enjoyed the process of building the 6 included bots. Great quality for price. It was challenging to put together as one but he did it himself after many attempts. Was not expecting it to be possible based on other reviews but he proved those ones wrong.A lot of patience is required!

Fun build, easy to transform
This "devastator" like robot was fun to build. The 6 trucks came together nice and had no missing pieces. The build of the robot is interesting as the peices are removed from the trucks and used to add detail. The joints are ratcheting and tight. I would however say some clear nail polish could help on the elbow joints to tighten them up a bit more when holding the drill.Overall great build for the price and would highly recommend! Look forward to purchasing other sets in the brand.

Lego set
Beware… the 6 vehicles used to assemble this transformer are each assembled using ~70 Legos. Those trucks are then broken into 2-4 pieces to assemble the transformer which is too delicate to actually play with. As pieces fall off, it is very tough to figure out where to put them back, since instructions are so detailed, they are on 6 different pages. This would be a good toy for an older child who likes to assemble detailed Lego sets.

neat
Transforming Toy BlockFormers Connector Set (6-in-1) Robot Transforming Blocks enjoy these sets where you make the small toys and then put them together to make a huge robot. Makes for lots of fun and interesting use of time. Also more than one child can assemble the small boxes, which makes for great interaction and discussion. Fun stuff.

Contstructobot
I bought this robot for my nephew, he is 5 yo and obsessed with construction cars. He is very happy, we built it together!

Kiddo enjoyed the process of building with them, but playing is not much fun...
These aren't Legos. Legos are engineered to fit precisely and tightly, and these are not as tight-fitting, which means they don’t stand up to playing. Regardless, kiddo enjoyed the process of building them. I stored the extra pieces for each rig with the instructions in separate ziplock bags. You don’t want them getting mixed up. It's just that they don't stand up well to play, always falling apart.
