Works Really Well
Purchased three different styles of pill splitters and this model is by far my go-to tool.

Pill cutter
Purchased this pill cutter to replace one just like it that had become dull. Unfortunately, the blade in these is not replaceable, so need to buy a whole new one when the sharpness deteriorates. Really like that there is a blade guard that prevents cut fingers and it cuts better than other styles we have tried. It would certainly help if more medicines were scored for cutting which would help pill cutter efficiency. If the new one works as long as the previous one (5 years), it will have been a great price, too even though the top does not always move as smoothly as it should.

Poor performance
Terrible for cutting small round pills. Tried cutting about 12 tabs, but finally stopped because instead of an equal 50-50 split, most were 70-30 or 65-35. I have an old cutter that I wanted to replace with this one, because it also yields unequal splits with these small tabs, but it did about as well as the EZY-Dose device. Will next be trying "Collections, Etc" or "Perfect Pill Cutter" because they have compartments to hold pills, and maybe one of those will fit the pills I need to cut

Best pill-cutter I've found and really good if you take off the sliding 'safety' shield.
I have gone through at least 4 of these over time, and have tried at least 7-8 other brands including Equadose, Jeinapa all metal, and ezy-cut among others. I needed a new one again and also purchased 3 other brands (up to $30 each) hoping to find something better and more consistent but those all went back with inconsistent performance and a high price. Others worry about cutting themselves if the blade is exposed but that has never been a concern for me. If you remove the sliding safety shield and the 2 little plastic arms (they pop out easily) I'm then able to cut round pills in 1/2 or 1/3 easily just by flexing the box a bit to move the blade. The half-round pill-holder shape securely holds round pills without trouble. Getting a near-perfect cut in half still requires carefully lining up the blade and squeezing hard no matter what. Can't beat the price. Until I find something better Ezy Dose is the best.

The Best!
This is ABSOLUTELY the best pill cutter! I have oval tablets (Eliquis) that fit perfectly. And it cuts cleanly so there is no pill ‘dust’ like some other cutters. BEST. BEST. BEST

Pill halves fall behind cutter
Pill halves fall behind cutter sometimes and have to shake the cutter to get the pieces out

Built in magnifying glass, lots of features
I was just searching for a pill cutter that can cut REALLY small pills. I picked this cutter because it referred to tiny pills. When it arrived I realized it had many other features that I am pleased with. It has a magnifier built in so that when you are looking from the top you get a magnified view of the pill. It has a cover for the blade which retracts when the cover it pulled down on the pill so you don't cut yourself. The area where the pill goes has a little plastic piece that you push until it centers the pill. I like this because my other one just had a sort of flexible rubber piece that I always had to use a mechanical pencil to push the pill towards the blade and it was never centered and then the blade pushed it away while cutting. This one has a rounded plastic piece that keeps the pill centered and you can push it right up to the front so it is braced while cutting. I liked this so much I ordered two! I would give it 6 stars if I could.

confusing
It was too small to fit my pills, maybe it would work with others. Also it was kinda tricky to ge things out once you put them in.
