My favourite sweetener
Good sweetener with no aftertaste. Very versatile in its uses. Easy to dispense. Liquid with dropper lid. Excellent value as it lasts for months.

Good product, difficult to get in shops
Great for cooking and general use where you don't want to use sugar

Much easier to control how much you want than a whole sweetener
This was a great find as a lot of stores have stopped stocking this and great value for money getting 2 which now means that I can leave one at home and take one out with me to as they are so compact. If you have not tried the liquid before I was nervous before I had tried it but I find it a lot easier to put only a drop in my coffee than a whole sweetener so much better to control how much I want.

Brilliant sweetener
Love this format of sweeteners a lot better than the tablet form.

1 teaspoon more like.
Will be back for more. Don't agree with the dosage. However 1 level teaspoon is just like my usual 4 sugars in my coffee ☕️ 😂

Some experimentation required to get correct sweetness
I am a regular user of powdered Candarel, so I'm well used to the taste and vague aftertaste you get from it. I also use the tablet form occasionally, but I'm less keen on that. I was excited use this liquid version as the powdered can be a bit of a pain sometimes, and it would be handy to take out and about instead of the tablets. The liquid is clear and odourless, but dear god do not get any on you!! I got a drop on my finger and made the mistake of locking it off - boy is it sweet!! An hour later I could STILL taste sweetness in my mouth! Anyway, as a sweetener for tea & coffee it's actually pretty good. I'm a two-sugars tea girl, and the packet suggests 2 drops of liquid = 1tsp of sugar, so I tried 4 drops to start. Well, either my teaspoons are more generous than theirs, or it loses some if its effect in tea as I found that 5 drops is more like the sweetness level I'm used to. I did try 6, but that one extra drop took it over the top. I'd advise starting with the suggested 2, taste, add a drop, repeat as required until you find what works for you. When the correct level is found, it's much like normal Candarel. Similar taste & aftertaste (though maybe a little less pronounced), without the annoying foamyness that the powder causes. The biggest downside is trying to see the shops as they come out of the bottle, and not squeeze to hard as to cause a flood of sweet liquid in your tea. The bottle could do with a redesign, maybe a dropper type top. Also I'm not 100% trusting of how well the cap will stay closed in my bag as it seems a little easy to pop open, not been out with it yet and expecting a disaster - I'd advise popping it in a sandwich bag or something, just in case! I don't really ever cook with sugar, except baking which I wouldn't use it for, so I can't comment on how well it works in cooking. Will be using as my sweetener of choice from now on though!
