Love this little bench. I’m actually using it to house towels and lotions in my bathroom but would have no issue using this as a stool/bench. Well made and easy to put together, this is a solid little piece of furniture with additional fixings included to give you peace of mind.

I’ve had this for just under 2 years and the quality has been really disappointing. It started going black in the cracks, seams and wood grain very quickly, even though I scrubbed it regularly with anti-mould cleaners and bleach. The finish is obviously very poor. Eventually it completely collapsed while I was sitting on it — and I’m only 55kg — because the wood had rotted around the screws. Definitely not waterproof and not built to last. Wouldn’t recommend.

Looks great, good to use for storage but not for use as a stool long term.

Article super bien emballé. Instructions claires et très facile à assembler. Je suis étonnement surprise par la solidité de ce banc. J'y dépose mes serviettes lors de la douche ou bain et je m'y assied ensuite pour me crèmer. Je suis très satisfaite de cet achat.

Although this bamboo bench is designed so it can be used in a shower, I did not get it for that. I needed a small, sturdy bench to put in a narrow corner of my bathroom, so I could put my foot up on it *after* a shower, for example to dry between my toes (which my Mom told me always to do :) ). It's materials and construction should ensure that it doesn't deteriorate or be difficult to clean like a cloth covered bench or stool would. The shelf underneath the top is a bonus for my application. The bench when together pretty easily, as claimed, requiring less than 15 minutes for me to assemble it. There are 16 allen-head screws that go into precision drilled and countersunk holes. Assembly would have been even faster if I used an electric screwdriver with the corresponding allen-head bit instead of the included allen wrench. The short end of the allen wrench actually has a Phillips tip to be used with the four small screws that attach non-slip feet to the bench's legs. That tip is actually a little small (about a #1), so I suggest you use your own #2 Phillips screwdriver for those to avoid stripping the screw heads. The bamboo wood in this bench feels very sturdy and has a nice finish. I expect it to last a lot longer than my previous bench/stool, which had an open top covered with cloth that eventually tore and was getting pretty grubby looking as well.

I just purchased my second. I do not use in shower, but one is used in the bathroom for a bit of storage and as a bench. Very sturdy as a bench for seating or anything else that you wish to put on this. I also use this in my camping trailer for most anything I need it to be a seat and storage. I can place anything I need on it as a temporary bench/table. Easy to put together, rather lightweight for moving/handling and neutral color goes with most anything for a modern look.
