Top Handled Saw
Not a bad saw for its price , like all budget saws keep the chain sharp and it won’t bog down in larger bits of timber, it doesn’t have an anti kickback chain just a standard one so if not used to these be careful not to take the depth gages too low when sharpening. All in all a good saw for occasional use but not for professional .

Topping saw
Nothing to dislike about the saw really good for the money, light and easy to put together, as others have said slight adjustments to the carburetor gets it ticking over and revving nicely, reliability I can't say until I've been using for a while, but it goes aswell as any other budget saw and quite a few more expensive one. I would definitely buy again

Good enough for garden and smaller tree branches
I normally cut up fallen trees/branches with a hand saw, but also have a wood cutting blade for my bosch pro angle grinder which is brilliant, but this only cuts so far into thicker branches, i felt I didn't really need a full size chainsaw for garden use so last year or so a took a chance and bought a very cheap chainsaw attachment for my drill, fully expecting to throw it directly in the bin, from the reviews most people couldn't figure out how to assemble it or deemed it to dangerous, however, it was very easy to put together and being a micro chainsaw you still need to follow the same safety protocols, it worked fine for about two inch thick branches The branches this year are about 6 plus inches so hard work cutting with a hand saw and near impossible for the micro chainsaw which not surprisingly just jammed. I didn't really need one of the full size behemoths so took a chance on this one, only just used it today and it took a few pulls of the cord before it finally sprung into life, you have to leave the chain a bit looser than you may think and it's obviously not a powerfull engine but I feel I made the right choice. I found i had to use full revs to cut through the 6 inch branches so this may be its limit, but for £90 I got exactly what i wanted, a good lightweight garden chainsaw that will save me a lot of effort, For larger trees branches i would definitely suggest going for the bigger engine and blade versions Aug 2025 update I have used this a few times and I found it really struggles with 6inch branch's, after about 10 cuts, its most likely a combination of the engine not being powerful enough and the chain blade losing sharpness, this is my first chainsaw so the blade needing sharpened sooner than i expected may be normal, but I expected it to last a bit longer, dropped a star I have now sharpened the chainsaw blades which was easy and its now cutting like new but the metal can't be very good quality considering how quickly it stopped cutting, you get what you pay for, as they say, however, still worth it for use once a year. Just to reiterate - I would suggest going for a more powerful engine if you intend to use a chainsaw for longer periods and/or the branch's are say 5 plus inches.

Instructions poor
Okay been using over last few days and works well, for a 26cc motor it has a reasonable cut. However, instructions are lousy, firstly to get the blade in you need to put in vertical and then rotate not very logical and not what you might be used to with stihl or others. Secondly there send out with a plastic plate saying remove before putting guide bar on, but what was not clear to me until i thought about it is that it needs removing in total it is just for shipping. Finally starting when warm you need to pull the throttle to get it going, but other than that cutting well.

Excellent value
Excellent value for money for a well made compact chainsaw, fairly easy to set up and use, comes with a spare chain and built in safety brake. Got to be the best chainsaw of it's type for the money on the market.
