Liquitex BASICS Acrylic Paint Set, 9 x 75ml (2.4-oz), Starter Box

I bought this set for myself way back in 2020, and let me tell you—these paints have been the ride-or-die of my creative life ever since. The color range? Chef’s kiss. From bold primaries to moody neutrals, every shade mixes like a dream and goes on smooth. The texture is buttery but not too thick, and it layers beautifully without turning into a crunchy mess. Also for a student paint the coverage is pretty good too! Whether I’m painting something majestic or just aggressively covering a canvas in “emotional red,” Liquitex never lets me down. Now, does it come with a storage case? Not exactly. It comes in a sturdy box that’s good for a while—but if you’re like me and treat your art supplies like treasure, you might eventually upgrade to a fancy case (or just pretend the box is a briefcase full of magical rainbow potions, no judgment). Bottom line: worth every penny. Great for beginners and pros. Just maybe hide it from friends who like to “borrow” art supplies and never return them. 😏🎨

This is quality acrylic paint. It's just the right consistency and the color is vivid. I'm only a beginner painter, but I see the difference between the liquitex and the cheap paint I bought previously. My only issue with my order is that the brown paint tube was broken open.

I love the color and consistency. They are fantastic paints. My only complaint is I received 2 tubes of yellow oxide and did not get Naples yellow hue at all. No idea how to resolve this as the only option on Amazon is to return the whole set, which I have been using for a while before realizing the mistake.

very great price at $31.00 plus prime shipping you cant beat it. I alter MTG cards for side cash and these are enough to do hundreds of cards. I cant see myself needing to buy more this year since I only use these on small projects. I did buy another though since I noticed amazon selling one that has a damaged box but the tubes are still intact for under $27 and these are a steal. about the storage box. a very sturdy box. the top cover completely covers all four sides so you have to pull the top completely off like a velveta cheese box. which is fine but I was surprised and though these would be in a cheap cardboard or plastic flimsy box but this box is very sturdy and with regular use will prob last longer than the paints. the paints are stacked on 4 plastic dividers with 12 tubes on each row. the holes in the top of the box are really there with just a very thin layer of clear plastic so you can really see the paint through the box. if you remove the plastic or for some reason it came off it wouldn't affect the box look or use at all since the holes are so small that even if you didn't have the dividers and just threw your paint in the box and shook the box the paint tubes would not fall out. about the paint its good paint if you ever used liquitex brand you know they have a good quality and vibrate colors. each tube has just about the same amount (if not a little less) of paint as a average tube of toothpaste. so use this info to decide if these is enough paint for you. would I recommend yes! for the price that I paid for 2 boxes was less than 1 box at regular price. plus prime shipping. plus this is a great brand. all around great amazon prime find! if you can get these for $40 or under with prime shipping at least you would be saving so much!

Liquitex paint is my go to for art class. It's true to the color and blends easily.

This is a great quality metallic acrylic set. The bottles are a tad small in my opinion, but worth it. Just keep that in mind. No smell. Arrived in perfect condition. Pigment is rich and the paint is fresh and easy to use. Metallic glow and sheen is beautiful. Works straight out of the bottle. I recommend and will buy more.

I purchased these as a Christmas gift for my granddaughter. I have used Liquitex acrylic paints for probably 50 years and have always been satisfied with the result. They tend to last a long time without drying out or the quality degrading. This is a nice set with a lot of colors, and I am sure my granddaughter will be happy with it.

tolles Produkt hatte schöne Farben beim Bild. Die Farben lassen sich miteinander auch gut vermischen, so dass ich aus den Grundfarben auch alle anderen beliebigen Farben, die ich für mein Bild brauchte, mischen konnte ohne Probleme. Selbst mit Farbe anderer Marken, ließ sich das Produkt gut mischen. Die Tuben sind klein und handlich. Laufen auch nicht aus. Das praktische. Hierbei ist auch zu anderen Tuben, dass man diese gut aufbrauchen kann, ohne die Verpackung zu Tode zu quetschen zu müssen.
