Frankenhammer Build Manual Paperback – September 10, 2014

Bought this for my dad hubby and son, all dabbling in my father’s old career as a blacksmith, now that he’s retired. They plan to rally in the spring when the weather breaks and build some form of this trip hammer in our tool shop. Hope this aids my ol’ dad and his tired hands, and my son who’s still gaining hammer endurance.

Author did a great job putting this manual together. Ended up making a different style of power hammer. I'm pretty simple minded and this was a tad bit beyond my expertise. Also need some pretty heavy shop tools to manufacture this, which adds to the cost of the project.

Very descriptive. Great book and great instructions. Haven’t started to build the hammer yet but now I know what I need for materials and how to lay them out and put them together

If you want to build Powerhammer this is the book for you. I am Air Force Technical writer by profession and I can testify that this book is very well written and is loaded with detailed illustrations. Also, if you have any questions Mr. Norm Tucker will be more than happy to help you. If you follow his instructions and the get the recommended material your Powerhammer will work properly and will last you a lifetime.

Works great!!! Good manual. It cost me about $2200 to make with new steel motor and pulleys. Took about 40 hrs to build

it takes all the trial and error out of building a power hammer- and that's a good thing, allowing you to focus on the building and getting it right.
