*NOTE: ex-Starbucks Barista here* As noted, I worked at a Starbucks for a while, and got big into espresso drinks. I no longer work there, but wanted to make more espresso drinks. I ordered this setup to brew pot coffee along with espresso. To start, the pot coffee has great taste, runs well, and is easy to clean. No complaints. Espresso, however, exceeded all expectations. It takes pods (kind of like Keurig), and it is just like in the coffeeshop. You can choose standard espresso, lungo (longer shot), or over ice shots. The taste is perfect with the Starbucks pods, and the quality is top notch. Pros: - Great quality coffee and espresso produced - Easy to clean - Plenty of options, even a frother included - Beautiful aesthetic in the kitchen Cons: - Not super cheap (but much cheaper than pro grade) - Doesn't come with a milk steamer - Can only pull 1 shot at a time Overall, awesome machine for many needs. You get what you pay for (and more imo). The packaging is good when it arrives, and is easy to setup. 100% would buy again if ever needed.

You know those notes that companies put in their packaging to encourage us not to return the item, but to contact them first? Here's how that's going. I purchased the Ninja Espresso & Coffee Maker & Barista System on 3/6/25 and it was received the next day (good job Amazon!) I followed the instructions on how to begin using the device, and unfortunately, immediately noticed a leak under the unit. I later found that when the water tank was attached, it would leak. Regardless of whether the unit was on or off - if the tank had water in it and was attached, it would begin leaking. My first thought was return it to Amazon .. but then I thought, you know .. I really like this machine. It makes a good cup .. and I've heard that Ninja's customer service is good, so I'll call the toll free number to get that process going. Customer service was quick and friendly and told me I'd be receiving an email with a FedEx label for returning my leaky unit. A day or two later, the email arrived and I sent it on it's way. That was on 3/19/25. It arrived in CA on 3/27/25. On the initial customer service call, I was told that once my unit had been received, they would be shipping out a new one. On 3/28/25 and after I saw that the package had arrived, I called customer support (who again was very nice) and I asked them to please check on the status of the order, as I'd not seen any updates on their website. The rep I spoke to put me on hold a few times but came back and said they'd spoken to a manager and would expedite the order. It is now 10 days after that contact, and I've still not received my coffee maker or seen an update on the order. It's this kind of 'dropping the ball' that makes people not want to deal with going through customer service .. but just sending it back to Amazon, which I could've easily done. So, if you're looking for a good coffee maker and want to try the Shark Ninja products, be forewarned you may get a leaky coffee maker. And if you do, I cannot recommend that you contact Ninja customer service, but just return it to Amazon - and please note the defect so that it does not enter the market again and cause someone else the frustration.

I got two last year for my adult children and they absolutely raved about them. So this year, I finally bought one for myself — and honestly, I should’ve done it sooner. What I love most is the versatility. It makes espresso, regular coffee, and even works with Nespresso‑compatible capsules. The espresso comes out smooth with a nice crema, and you can choose from three brew styles depending on how bold you like it. On busy mornings, the capsule option is fast and super convenient snd if you want a full cup, the coffee side brews hot and flavorful.” The built‑in frother is powerful, easy to clean, and makes great foam for lattes and cappuccinos. Overall, it’s simple to use, easy to clean, and consistently makes great drinks. I loved it enough to buy one for myself — and I’m already planning to get another for my guest suite. If you’re looking for a reliable all‑in‑one coffee and espresso system, this one is definitely worth considering.

We were looking for a system that had both Nespresso pods and a coffee maker. Overall, this does the job. One small issue is that the pods can get stuck every now and again. Also, for some reason, where the pods get dispensed... it runs water through it to clean it but the water collects in the cup tray an in the empty pod container and it can start really making a mess if you do not clean this out daily. If you are brewing coffee in the pot and then someone wants to make an espresso drink... it will shut off the coffee pot side mid-brew. The frother is really nice and does a great job. Overall it is a good machine but the water situation that collects in the pod dispense container is the only nuisance. We bought this after having a K-cup system for years, but I think we might go back to the K-Cup just based on the stores all having all kinds of varieties of K-cups and now they also have a Coffee Pot/K-Cup combo that I might switch to.

Love this machine. Love it so much i bought a second one for work. Makes great coffe and fantastic espressos. People at work line up for coffee. The pods are not expensive and can be purchased at most stores and Amazon. I would recommend this coffee maker.

Upgraded from a Keurig, say goodbye to watered down coffee... This coffee machine is so easy to use and is packed with so many useful features. The scoop tells you how many scoops of coffee grounds to put into the filter. The coffee comes out strong and tastes so good! Very easy to make your own cold foam with the built in frother. It is very easy to set a time for your coffee to brew each morning saving yourself a ton of time in the morning. The coffee also brews fast, and gives you the option to stop the flow so you can pour a cup and then resume brewing. Don't hesitate buy this coffee machine!
