Tall & space saving
I bought one of these yrs ago and it go beat up bad and not sure it lasted for long so hesitated. At $40, not cheap. Glad I bought it for my new 4 month old kitten. After 2 days, he has no interest. I put him on it the first day; hasn't used it since. The fabric used is a thick felt-like fabric. I suspect it will not last once he starts clawing it. My ceiling is 8' high so it appears sturdy enough. I put it against the wall to make it sturdier. I did not have to use the extender. I suspect, the closer you get to the maximum 9', the more wobbly it gets. I like that the base is not too large so it doesn't take up much floor space in the 3.5' wide hallway. I got it for Pepito so he can get on top of shelf for a high vantage point.

Wiggled but stays up
Our two 6 month old kittens love this thing. They race around the house and throw thmselves at it, at full speed. They play quite aggressively on it. It wiggled & wobbles but has not ever looked ready to fall. They loved climbing up right away. Coming down required some trial and error. We installed it in front of the sliding glass doors. They watch birds and squirrels from all the perches. They so love the height. They lay on the top perch and dangle an arm, like he's the king of the world. The fabric is weird, like cheap car carpet or something. It catches their claws often. I think I'm going to wrap the pile in rope. Maybe cover the perches in a more friendly fabric. This product was an open box Amazon deal so it was missing a single bolt. The company website said I can order a $2.55 parts kit butthey charge $13.50 for shipping! Ridiculous! It's a good product.

They work okay for the price
I do like these I will say that I would have been much disappointed if I would have paid a lot for them. I can't remember what I paid but it was really reasonable for a cat stuff I think was like 30 bucks or 40 bucks. I wouldn't pay much over that. They are tall they do reach the ceiling they have extensions too to reach an even higher ceiling they would work in most places. Assembly is a little sketchy hard to figure out but for the most part straight cut. I believe I left the washer out of one of them and it wouldn't stay put I put plumbers tape on the bottom instead and it seems to get staying a little better so far. I can't find the washer now so I might be out of luck. I bought two of them

Not meant for Chonky Kitties.
I have two adult cats and thought this would be perfect for them. Don't get me wrong, it is! You'll just have to purchase two of these and put them next to each other if you want your kitties to lie down and sleep. I originally got one and they love climbing it but they could only it on the platforms, believe me, they tried to lie down but they were too big, haha. We got the second one and this is their favorite tree! One is probably good, but only for kittens. Get two if you have larger kitties.

Cats love
This is great for cats in a small space home. The only thing I don't like is The color. It iis dark brown so I can see all the cat hair on it.I guess that's good for knowing when and how often to wipe down

And the cat loves it
I bought this because my cat loves to climb and to keep from climbing my drapes. At first I bought a traditional cat tower with scratching posts and multiple levels, but this didn’t satisfy her desire to not climb the drapes. When the tree arrived I assembled it, but only installed one platform between the last two sections. She immediately climbed from the base straight up the pole to the platform and started playing around on it surveying her empire. She loves it so much that I bought a second one.The only flaw with this product is the sturdiness of the two piece plastic pipe and coupling that is provided to push against the ceiling. My cat regularly runs across the room and jumps up out the pole causing it to bow and slide a little there by becoming off vertical. I have to straighten the pole daily and the other day she leap so hard that the thin coupling broke and the pole fell over. I easily fixed the pole by purchasing a short piece of heavy duty 1/2 PVC plumbing pipe from the local hardware store and cutting it to fit. Since I already had to cut one of the two pieces of thin pipe to make the tower fit my ceiling I think including single piece of heavy duty pipe would be an improvement or replacing the tension spring with a threaded hole and including a long threaded rod to press against the ceiling. Relaying on the tension of a spring and the flimsiness of the PVC pipe included in the kit is the only thing that stopped me from giving it 5 stars.Overall I really like this product and will buy it again when my cat wears it out from continuous use.

Served its purpose
I like this product that we can move it around but it is wobbly so when he gets on it and it hits the wall we can hear it but it does his job and lets him get up high to the shelf where he likes to get to without him trying to jump so far down makes it safer for him and he loves to scratch on it

Easy to assemble. 3 cats used it right away.
This is a simple unit with shelves stacked up . It was easy to assemble and did not take up a lot of floor space. Which is great in an RV! I stacked mine up against a wall and weighed down the base stand for extra stability. I have 2 large cats (16+lbs) and 1 small (10lbs) who are all loving the tree.I suspect the cloth covering the stand will need replacing with frequent usage.

Anna loved
The media could not be loaded. It was an immediate hit with Anna and she uses it all the time but it’s wrecked already where she scratches mostly it’s actually coming away from the pole

My cats new lounging spot. (Mackerel Tabby)
Fast shipping, easy to set up, just simply twist everything together, only tool required for setup is the allen key to tighten the base screw on the bottom plate which is included in the box. At first I thought my cat was going to be too big & heavy for it but once it was set up it’s actually pretty solid. The spring at the top that pushes pressure out to secure to the ceiling is very strong so I have no worry’s about it ever falling over when my cat is playing on it. It takes up less space in the living room then his older cat tree, looks modern. I’m happy with my purchase. When the carpeted scratch post wears out I will rewrap it with thick string. My cat likes to sit on the top post and stare out the window.

NOT Sturdy on 9 ft ceilings!
The media could not be loaded. It arrived quickly and was easy to assemble. I like the look of it, though it is not carpeted like I initially thought, but covered in a felt like fabric (I may have missed that in the description). Time will tell how that ages 🤷♀️. I specifically purchased this one as it said it fit up to 9ft ceilings, which mine are. However upon setting it up, even with the tension rod installed correctly at the top, this stand is just NOT stable. When in use by our 12 pound cat OR the 10 week old kitten, there is significant bending/movement at the point that the two plastic rods connect on the tension rod system. The stand rocks and wavers quite a lot as a result, even banging on the wall as a cat jumps off. Even just using it as a scratching post from the ground, the stand shakes. Prior to the tension rod use, the stand felt very sturdy and solid structure wise so the flaw is definitely in this plastic tension rod system and not in the screw points of each new level. It's possible that on a lower ceiling height it would not shake as much and be more stable, but I do not have that option as all my ceilings are 9ft. We chose this stand as a route to a window ledge at the ceiling for the cats as we were trying to avoid screwing into the walls, but the only way this will be safe to use is if we add some L brackets and screw it to the wall. Pretty disappointed overall with the end result and really wish it had more stability as it's practically useless and unsafe as is. 😭 Last complaint is that I wish they had covered the bottom of the shelves in fabric as well, as the plain wood bottom isn't that nice to look at when seated next to the stand.

Great product, great price
The media could not be loaded. I have 3 of these, this is my fourth. The other 3 I also bought on amazon but from different company/seller. I wanted to try this one as the price was lower and they had the colour I wanted. Instructions on assembly are very straightforward and simple. It is a little different then others I bought but it’s still great and saved me some money. For those with popcorn ceilings, it works great. It’s sturdy enough for my 2 fur babies. Sprayed some catnip on it and they couldn’t wait.It take a bit longer to come but lately most stuff I order on Amazon have been coming late or delivery dates change once you go to checkout, which is frustrating. I’m actually surprised the box is good condition considering how packages have been treated lately.Quality is great and I recommend for price for sure!

It's okay
My cat absolutely loves this cat tree. He is about 12 pounds and it is sturdy enough to hold him but when he runs up it or is playing on it, it bends every which way. That causes it to hit into our wall alot which is not great although it is carpeted so hasn't wrecked our walls. The carpet covering it is not durable. We have had it set up for about a month and the carpet material is completely gone in some places and my cat doesn't scratch that much. I would have liked it to be way more durable since it is a post for climbing and scratching. Also, it is a good and bad thing but this material catches alot of hair. My cat is medium long hair and I pick hair off of it every day because it collects so fast. These clumps of hair attached to the platform's and poles bunch up and I haven't noticed many times the hair get stuck in my cats mouth which would lead to hair balls if I can't get them out before he swallows them. So it is good because it removes hair from him but not great because it leaves it very clumpy and hard to keep up with. Overall it's one of the better priced cat trees like this, but not super durable.
