Good size, great visual effect, and loads of play
Four year old LOVED receiving this, and the 8 year old loved joining in on the play! Visually stunning with moving walls, doors, and trap floors. It has literally spawned hours of imaginative play with both children. Very worthwhile investment. I just haven’t figured out how I will store it when it’s not in active use!!

Be aware this was delivered in retail packaging.
Bought this for my niece's Christmas present, as I knew she wanted it beforehand.I read numerous reviews and even watched a video review online on this, was a bit sceptical given the price point, that it would have as many parts and as much interaction as with other Playmobil models - I needn't have worried, this thing is massive, with many parts, sure to give hours of entertainment to a child. As with a few other reviews, mine was delivered in retail packaging, with an address label plastered on the box, I had it delivered to work, so no chance it could have been seen by the intended recipient, but I bought mine from Amazon, and paid a quid or so extra so as not to take the chance it would be seen. Also, one of the box flaps was open, so I was concerned that there might be pieces missing - there wasn't but it could have spoiled Christmas day. That said, my niece was delighted with it.

Fantastic play value
When my to-be-5-year-old son asked for this for his birthday, I was initially unconvinced that it looked as entertaining as other Playmobil sets (we have a lot of knights, Romans, Ghostbusters and top agents already. We'll I couldn't have been more wrong. He is so happy with it and loves the secret chambers and booby trap and he happily plays for a good length of time making up adventures with his brothers. It's a great set, not too challenging to construct and loads of fun accessories and features to keep little ones entertained.

Hours of fun
Purchased this for my 6 year old grandson. Absolutely loves it. Add figures from other sets and pretend they are time-travellers and going back to Egypt to see how they lived. Play and Educational. Excellent toy.

Fantastic playmobil play set.
It's expensive, but worth it. Pretty large and the box it comes in is freakin huge!! It was simply my daughters favourite christmas present and we also got her the Caesar and Cleopatra figure set to compliment it which I recommend. My wife put it together and I did hear some swearing about bits being very hard to put together and in place, but she got there in the end. There does appear to be one floor stone that is supposed to drop out, dropping out and barely staying in all the time, but my daughter doesn't seem to mind.If you see it on special, then buy it!!

Son loved it
Not as big as I was expecting but that was a good thing. Takes a while to build but is worth it. Son absolutely loved it and you get loads of little bits and plenty of People. Very well put together and thought out. Only down side is the sides that you can take off fall off at the slightest touch but my son wasn't bothered by it
