I used to have an expensive, huge and heavy blender that was difficult to use, clean and store. I barely used it because of this. This is perfect, light, easy to clean and store and it just whizzed up a batch of watercress soup in no time. Very good purchase and great value for money.

Perfects for my uses. Soups usually. Easily cleaned. Doesn’t take up much space to store.

An important point mentioned in the instructions (which I didn't read until after I used it first) is that you should only run it for 1 minute and allow it to cool for 2 minutes before using again.The first time I used it, I had a very large batch of soup to blend and ran it for several minutes, after which I found the casing around the motor to be disconcertingly warm. The second batch of soup I did for 1 minute and the motor housing was not significantly warmer - so allowed it to cool for a minute before blasting away again. Worked a treat so am keeping it.Cheap & cheerful and worth the money for what I need it for. If you're using a blender a lot, or for long periods then this is not the one for you.

I had one of these years ago, and decided to buy again as the ones I had beforwe take up too much space. Absolutely gem of a kitchen device and great value!

Bought one of these in 2019, the metal shaft for the blade is moving and disconnecting vertically, it sounds rough and is potentially a danger so it's going in the bin. It's only been used about once a month so I would have expected it to last much longer but I'm just away to buy the same one again, as it's worked fine up until today.
