Embroidery Thread, 100% Cotton, 50 x Assorted Coloured Skeins by Flissy

Going off the reviews already posted, it is obvious that you pay your (very little) money, and you take your chances with what turns up. At under 6p a skein, I'm willing to take that gamble again and again, to build up as wide a rainbow of floss as I possibly can.This first batch had a very good range, some exceedingly bright yellows, oranges, and reds. Some glorious green and purple. A nice variety of pink and brown. And one blue. A lovely shade, but kinda lonely all by himself. I'm hoping the next batches I have coming will bring him some similarly tinted friends. I left at least a week between orders in the hopes that stock flows fast enough that there'll be a whole new selection of shades available when it comes time to pick my new bundle(s).As you can see if you zoom in, there are at least 6 different labels represented in this bundle. Also 5 or 6 pairs of matching skeins, tho as there were actually 54 in the parcel, I still feel I came out ahead on the deal. And two of those pairs (the vibrant yellow, and one of the orange tones) each had skeins that were identical in shade, while each twin wore a different label and number.If the floss fairy is reading this, I'd really appreciate some more lush greens and a nice wide selection of blues, but purples are always very welcome too! ;)ETA: The second lot I ordered has arrived, and the floss fairy obliged me with a good selection of blues, and a wide variety of other colours and shades.ETA2: 3rd lot has arrived, and while the orange-yellow section of the spectrum is severely under-represented, it's still a wide variety, no duplicates, and I am very happy with what I got.

I agree with what a lot of people have said in that the colours aren't as vibrant as shown in the picture and I hate to say it for some reason the pictures I have taken of the threads I received make them even look even duller than they actually are BUT the colours and colour mixes I got are right up my alley, I much prefer this more earthy colour pallet and lets face it at £1.50 (it's gone up slightly since I ordered mine) an absolute bargain. The thread itself is lovely and soft cotton and the threads easily separate.Obviously not sure if they will be colour fast or won't fade over time but if I was working on a project that I would need to wash often or I wanted to keep for a lifetime I would buy the branded threads. These I'm keeping for practice embroidery and also to use for pieces that if the colour fades, runs etc it doesn't matter. If you're new to Xstitching or embroidery or has a child that wants to learn they're perfect.For this price and the colours I've just placed an order for 2 more which is going to save me having to use my DMC threads for other projects.

This thread came 3 weeks earlier than it stated so pleased. The colours were great but lots of green. Only one black and one white BUT brilliant value. The second photo shoes one I bought from craft shop and one from this bunch. Both exactly the same. They split up well for embroidery. I love them. I would just have got 2 for the price of 50 of these. Well chuffed. Everywhere else sold out atm due to virus. Keep safe and busy ♡♡♡

Having tried many brands of other threads from cheap to expensive, these are one of the best ones I had.The plethora of colours that come with this purchase is amazing. It has every shade of every colour you might need. The colours are vibrant but not to the extent of being extremely bright and unusable in most art projects or crafts. When I opened the package so many variations came out I was surprised and didn't know where to start!The thing with cheaper threads is that if you apply too much pressure, they would split and tear apart during the process. Having used these I have not experienced this so far. So this is what makes it a winner for me.They have the premium feel you would get with the most expensive brands. Soft and shiny threads are the proof of this.This purchase was perfect in terms of quality and price to what I needed. Absolutely recommended to anyone buying embroidery threads. Will be buying these for my next projects.Extremely satisfied.

What a surprise 😁 After reading the reviews & seeing the rating I was concerned but thought for the price worth a go. I received them about 3 weeks after ordering - good for mail from China in my experience. I received a variety of nice colours. Ok so the thread quality is not superior grade but if you want that you pay more. The thread seems strong - needed scissors to cut. So far it is running smoothly and separates with ease with 45 cm lenghth. I think I benefited from the vendor possibly taking note of previous feedback - thank you to those buyers.

I ordered these as I make braided bracelets as a business in uni and sell them to students. Despite the bad reviews I figured for the price shown I might as well go ahead, and I was not disappointed. The order took two weeks to arrive, and was a few days within the estimated delivery date which I was impressed with, and although the variety isn't great they're good colours that I can work with (after all it is assorted so you can't expect all perfectly vibrant colours). The quality of the thread is high and not cheap at all, and is excellent value for money.

For the price these are absolutely perfect. The colours are not that vibrant, apart from about two. Also, did take 17 days to arrive, so be warned. And they can fray very easily. However impossible to complain for £2.80. Brilliant. Absolutely brilliant. Very very good value. If you want vibrant colours, fast delivery and proper thread that does not come apart, then you will have to spend £1 per thread. Brilliant this. Very good array of colours as well
