Speeding up the process in a near and tidy way.
Absolutely brilliant. I don’t normally leave reviews and was a little nervous if this paint sprayer having read the reviews. So given my delight with this I thought I ought to set the record straight. Most importantly it converted what would have been a 2 day painting job (painting some wooden outbuildings) into 2.5 hours with 2 coats! I used Ronseal ultimate protection water based decking oil (it’s not actually oil) with the grey nozel on level 2. Very tidy and controlled spray. I gave up with the dust sheets as no need. Easy to clean. I wouldn’t think twice about using it inside. Thoroughly recommend

Fine with emulsion
I used this spray gun to paint my hallway with undiluted trade emulsion (thick) paint. The hallway was part fresh plaster (mist coat already applied) and part old paint. What's good? Once you've masked everything - and you'll need to do this well - it's very quick. 2 hours from start of painting to completion. This is helpful if you're in an area that can't be out of action for long like a hall/stairs/landing. The finish if the paint is applied in accordance with the instructions is every bit as good as a roller. It's very good at getting even coverage in corners, around doors etc. The adjustable nozzle helps with this. What could be better? It generates a lot of fine dry paint particulates that, if you're not careful will go everywhere. It goes without saying that a mask is required and I think Bosch would do well to include one to get you started given the target consumer. Ceiling spraying was quite tricky as pointing the gun at the ceiling results in the gun getting no paint - this is solved by keeping the container well topped up and spraying at 45 degrees. I had to periodically clear the air channels of dried paint to ensure that it worked consistently, this may have been because of the viscosity of the paint that I was using.Other comments:It gets very hot using the spray gun for long periods of time. The air coming from the blower gets really quite hot so the room becomes like a sauna except you have your clothes on. It is also noisy, not crazily so but worth knowing. I also found that overspraying an area is quite easy to do, but also easily fixed if you keep a small paint roller to hand. When starting and in detailed areas I found that using the lower air setting, though not in the instructions, was quite good for delivering smaller amounts of paint. Finally I'd not recommend using low tack masking tape as the jet of air will be enough to get under it.Overall I'm pretty pleased with it. If you're looking for an overall quicker way of painting, don't bother because the masking time will be as much as any additional time brush/rolling. But if you want a nice consistent finish to the corners of the room, have large areas to paint and don't mind the masking effort or are simply bored of using a roller and brushes then go for it.

Excellent Coverage
Not a huge fan of decorating find it time consuming and having to clean the brushes a real pain, so decided to get a sprayer. There were quite a few to choose from but chose to get the Bosch sprayer. I can honestly say that I am well impressed, there was no need to buy special paint or to thin it down, the assembly of the sprayer is very easy everything is just click and twist. The paint container holds enough paint to cover about 6 metres squared, the time it takes to actually paint is much quicker than using brushes or a roller, also found there was no dripping either. As the paint is being sprayed there is a constant flow of warm air that comes from the end of the gun, this starts off the drying process as well. When you have finished painting cleaning the sprayer is so simple as it's just the gun that needs to be cleaned, pour any remaining paint back into the can, strip down the gun and wash (I used warm water), the gun comes up looking like new. When it was clean I assembled everything back together switched on the sprayer and blew air through the gun to dry it out further. Packing it away was easy as everything just fitted back in box.So overall simple use, fast, easy to clean and pack away, I am so pleased with the sprayer and the actual finish of the paint. At this moment I have found nothing I don't like about the sprayer and would highly recommend this to anyone

Could be better.
Sprays too much paint . Trigger control doesn’t do much difference.. On the lowest setting paint container gets empty in less than a minute.

The Best Sprayer on the Market
I can hold my hand on my heart and state this is without doubt the best sprayer on the market.I've used it to spray furniture as well garden fences and sheds and it's not let me down once.So easy to pour the liquid into the container, start the pump, press the button on the spray gun and away you go. You can also adjust the spray pattern as you go.One gripe is that because it sprays so well it does tend to use the liquid quite quickly. However I appreciate a larger container would add weight and might be difficult to handle.I'm very pleased to say that cleaning after use is dead easy. No fiddly parts to loose or forget where they go. Everything goes back easily and ready to go for the next time.Mine is the corded version but I see they now sell a battery version which must be even easier. 100% recommended.

Worked for 2 minutes then nothing!
I was swayed by the many positive reviews on this product and 1st job was to spay a couole of wooden shelves for my son.It spattered paint which I knew it would do until settings were adjusted, I thought the spattering would stop but it did not. After releasing the trigger to examine the spray nozzle to check it wasn't blocked, air came through the system but disappointingly no paint!!!I decided to resort to the good old paintbrush and sent it back for a refund.I'm surprised that Bosch, a name I've always associated with quality, can market such an unreliable product. I've since seen similar negative reviews to mine. The build quality and look/feel is very good as you'd expect from Bosch, the functionality begs question.
