I was a bit sceptical given the mixed reviews but they do work in a small 65ltr aquarium with 6 minows and a large shrimp with attitude. I was having to do a 50% water change, clean the glass and filter and vacuum the gravel about once a week before trying these - you do have to put them into the filter not lose as it suggests but the water is much clearer and doesn’t smell so much and reduced how much I have to change the water (50%) to about every 2-3 weeks so well worth it - I use about 5 balls in a PF2 under the sponges and they last about 7-10 days - will buy again

Good product easy to use works well

They always arrive on time. Thanks to these pearls I no longer have to clean the whole tank and remove the fish. All I do is add half a dozen pearls when the tanks looking dirty and they do it for me. All I do is clean the filter sponges every month. Brilliant product.

Confused. The Amazon advert tells you to put these directly into the aquarium, and it helps clear green water. The instructions on arrival tell you that they are not to clean green water and they should be placed in a filter bag, not directly into the aquarium!

It does what it's says in the advertisement, followed instructions and my aquarium water is clear, very happy with the product.

Ich habe vor ca 4 Wochen mein Aquarium umgestaltet neuer Kies neue Wurzel und neue Pflanzen. Ich hatte das Problem das die Wurzel trotz wässern weiter das Wasser eintrübte... Nach der wasserwechsel nix brachte habe ich noch einen Wasserwechsel gemacht und Bälle in den Filter mit reingemacht. Und siehe da es hat geholfen... In wenigen Tagen wurde das Wasser Glas klar und der Filter läuft mit voller Kraft... ich würde die Bälle wiederbestellen nur schade das der Preis so angezogen hat...

After trying everything for 6 months and nothing working to get rid of my ammonia problem I used this product and 3 days later my ammonia was 0. It has stayed 0 for 2 weeks. I have a 20 gallon tank and put 6 balls in my filter media. I have bought 2 more boxes. Will be using this from here on out.
