What makes the popping sound?

There are pressure pads underneath which suck onto the floor and when the child rocks on it they get pulled off and make a popping sound. It only works on a hard floor and not carpet. But my daughter seems to really enjoy the popping noise.

Are little hands likely to get trapped and squashed when rocking side to side?

No there fingers don’t get trapped

A board 11.5 H x 28 x 7.5cm W in size?? Doesn't match pics! Adult would not be able to stand on it. Smaller than a ruler in length.

I wouldn't put an adult on this anyway as too heavy. My 2 granddaughters sit on it and rock it while it "pops" and love it. Age 4 and 6. They can also stand on it and it is big enough .

Does this make popping sounds on a tuff tray? (a plastic tray)

This does not pop at all. We will return it. Have tried it on laminate and wood floors but it never makes the vacuum required for the ‘pop’. It is just a not very good rocking tray.
