Basic Concepts in Pharmacology: What You Need to Know for Each Drug Class, Fifth Edition

Great book
In love with this book. Easy to read, love the tone of the author. I would love them to publish an actual text not a guide with same concept. This has been a life saver for advanced pharmacology! I read this first then review my actual text.

Incomplete Book Targeting Complete Beginners
This book is a very basic introduction for self-learners that wanted to get a hang of pharmacology. If you are taking a course at any level at all, this would be of little to zero value for you. This book barely scratches the surface of each of the main topics in pharmacology. You will find some useful pointers here and there if you are a complete beginner. Totally don't recommend this book, unless you have $50 to burn. If you want, contact me -- you are welcome to have my copy.

Makes pharm simple
THIS REALLY DUMBS STUFF DOWN. So it great for seeing a simple explanation of a complex topic. Doesn’t cover all the drugs or have a lot of details. But it’s great to have things explained in a human way.

Pharm made easy
At the Graduate level, a lot of reading must be completed. This book is great at explaining the details needed and understanding concepts that will be applied. I definitely recommend this book to go along with whichever monstrous textbook is required.
