Dalstrong serrated utility knife
Super quality serrated knife, perfect for cutting bread, buns and cooked meat. Good length of blade, secure riveted handle and it cuts smoothly and cleanly. Delighted with this and would thoroughly recommend it (and the Dalstrong range)

Very good quality knife
I have arthritis in my fingers and find a conventional chefs knife too difficult to use. This is a great substitute cos it cuts meat, fish etc effortlessly. It is also well balanced and a pleasure to use.

Also Achtung Verletzungsgefahr.

The knife is nicely packaged and presented, but the quality and sharpness of the knife is disappointing for the price paid.

Over the past 7 months, I have purchased 4 Dalstrong knives, including a chef knife, a 5-in santoku, and 2 serrated utility knives. Overall, these knives represent good value at their respective price points. I am generally pleased with the functionality of the knives and would recommend them to friends. Because of their extensive and glossy packaging, they would make attractive gifts. I purchased a chef knife and one of the serrated knives (5.5 in) of the Gladiator series, whereas the 5-in santoku and the other serrated knife (6 in) are Shogun series. Both series feature full tang construction, 3 handle rivets, and robust end caps. The Gladiator knives use a German steel (hardness Rockwell 58); the Shogun series uses Japanese steel AUS 10V (hardness Rockwell 62+). Shogun series blades are highly polished and the fit and finish is very fine. The handle materiel is laminated pakkawood in the Gladiator series and a man-made materiel for the Shogun series. I actually prefer the mn-made material as a handle because it is dimensionally stable and better at resisting shrinkage than a wooden handle. The 5-in santoku is my favorite, easily the most used knife in my kitchen. My only gripe is that the serrated knives appear to only be sharpened on one side only, which, although typical of serrated knives, makes it tougher to control the run of the knife.
