This is a Bluetooth keyboard that acts as a cover as well by attaching to the magnetic side of your iPad (iPad 1, 2, 3 or 4). It has rubber protrusions on each corner to stop the keys touching and marking your screen.Connecting it to your iPad (or any other device with Bluetooth) is straightforward. Press the ‘connect’ button on the keyboard and then find the device in your Bluetooth settings – the same method as most Bluetooth devices.To use the keyboard, detach the iPad from the keyboard by gently pulling them apart to overpower the magnets and then place it in the slot just above the keys. There’s a lift out stand to prop it up with.The keyboard is very satisfying to use and has a good amount of travel with a positive feel each time a key is depressed. It’s far better than using the onscreen keyboard and I find I can touch-type as well as I can on a full-sized keyboard. Although it’s not full-size, the keys are plenty big enough and are spaced apart enough that you don’t accidentally hit two keys at the same time. It also has the same shortcut buttons you’d find on a much larger keyboard; these deal with screen brightness, copy and paste, browser shortcut, media playback and volume controls, as well as a button to lock and put the iPad into sleep mode – nothing is missed or compromised.I’m pleasantly surprised with the quality and, especially, the typing experience. If you’re fed up with the onscreen keyboard and want something much better, then this is for you. Well made, nice touch on the keys, easy installation and protective for the iPad screen. Once you try to use the ipad with a keyboard, there is no sense without it.First to say the installation is quite simple, just pair the keyboard is very straight forward. Then once connected, the easy type keys really allow fast typing without mistakes.The biggest advantage of having a keyboard connected is that you don't need anymore the on-screen keyboard, getting back almost 50% of your iPad screen usability. The magnetic clip is quick to use and perfectly fit the iPad for protection without adding much extra weight.It arrived very nicely packaged and protected. Quick delivered.

So I decided to order this as I have a change In job and thought I needed something to use whilst travelling around. This is an awesome bit of kit, just the right size to do work on, it's not as bulky as a laptop so helps with carrying around. Going to buy a second one so I always have a spare

Update:Having read my review below, the Company contacted me to address the issue and offered a partial refund to compensate for the issue. I thank them for their excellent customer service and have reflected this by increasing the star rating from 2 to 4.The keyboard in itself is good, but the magnet seems to have been installed the wrong way round, so it does not hold the iPad as it should, but flips round and hardly makes contact. This is very disappointing as that is one of the features which attracted me to this keyboard. It is also too big for the iPad I have (the iPad Air) so the keyboard extends beyond the width of the iPad when they are face to face

Keyboard connected very quickly and easily. Key responses very good and overall size is perfect. Shape of the keyboard back could have been more reflective of the ipad shape to make it feel like one unit...unfortunately, when cover attached to ipad, it looks like an "add on" and not very sympathetic to the curves/design. Magnetic attachments work as expected.

I'm really impressed with this little gadget - it's really excellent for the money. My IPad Generation 3 is my only computer and this keyboard has made it into a laptop which I can use much more easily than just a touch screen. The iPad fits in to the groove and stand which is integral to the the keyboard. The keyboard also acts as a cover which is useful. The size of the keyboard is not too small, it takes a little bit of getting used to but is fine and I've been able to touch type some reasonably long documents quite comfortably. Thrilled that I don't really need to buy a new laptop as this will do fine for most of the stuff that I do at home.

It is not fit for purpose as a case as it is held to the iPad by magnet and just keeps falling off. As a keyboard it is nice, but I had bought it as a keyboard case and it does not WORK as such. Now I have to spend more money on a case. However, the after service was really over and above and the assistance and reimbursement so it is a very good company despite this product not being what I needed but again it functions nicely as a keyboard. I would buy again from this company as they are very conscientious. Delivery was excellent as they use FBA .
