This is the second time I've bought Regaine for Men Extra Strength Scalp Solution because of the positive experience I had with it previously. I've been using the product for several months now, and I've noticed some positive results. The 5% Minoxidil formula seems to be effective for addressing male pattern hair loss. Been using this product for years, I’m a 64 year old woman who had receding temples, wish I had taken a before & after photo, but it does actually work, you need to be patient, it took a couple of months to see a difference but my hair dresser no longer try’s to cover what was bald temples.I use the higher strength which is focused for male use, I don’t understand why, as it’s as good for female usage also.Be patient and you will see results. I recommend this product.

I am writing this review with the hope that it will help other women who are losing their hair. For the last few years my hair has been thinning considerably at the front and side I have tried nearly every supplement on the market but nothing has been effective. I have looked at Regaine several times but the commitment of having to apply the lotion twice a day seemed daunting but my hair is so obviusly thinning now I thought that I would give it at try. I tried the Mousse for women at first but I didnt like the tackiness of it. I looked on You Tube and a woman who hair was thinning considerably said that her Dermatologist suggested using the stronger lotion for men so I started to use that, I have now been using it for about 8 weeks and there is no new hair yet but I wouldnt expect it but my hair somehow looks healthier and doesen't look as thin. The situation was so bad I have even ordered some wigs from Amazon because I became so desperate but I will continue to use the Mens extra strength lotion once a day and I will update my review in a few months when hopefully new hair should be coming through. Update-- 31st March this product is definately working my hair looks thicker and there are short hairs showing through which were visible after colouring my hair but I seem to have developed a reaction spots have appeared on my scalp and started to bleed. I am really dissapointed because the product does seem to be working so I don't know where I go from here as I don't want to stop using the product.

great product and much cheaper than other high street shops

I have no words to describe how bad this redesign is. The solution works fine but besides the fact that you are getting less than the foam version 60<73ml; its leaking everywhere and its more expensive.Its leaking standing up, its leaking on its side, its leaking all the time. Its appalling, do not buy this and stick to the foam variant.

I use the Regaine foam daily to help deal with a slight thinning of hair on my crown. However, its price has increased by about 30% in the past couple of years, so when I saw that this was much cheaper per ml, I thought I would give it a shot.I won't be buying it again! It is much more tricky to apply than the foam, and the propylene glycol in the solution sits greasily on your hair after application, clearly showing that you have applied something to that part of your head (unless you have extremely short hair).I'll stick to the foam and will just use this up in the evening applications when I know I'll definitely be washing my hair the following morning.Please note that I can't comment on the effectiveness of the solution as I have been using it occasionally instead of the Regain foam, which I have been using for much longer. For the purposes of this review, I have assumed that the solution works as effectively as the foam, and I have factored that presumed effectiveness into the number of stars I've awarded.

As long as I use it, it works, at least so far(started using it in 2023). It regrew a lot of the hair I lost in the past, and it got a bit thicker.
