Arctic Silver ArctiClean Thermal Material Remover & Surface Purifier 60ml Kit original version

I have tried other "recommended" products for removing old paste but even after that there always was a trace of paste left on either the processor or fan heat sink. In desperation I suppose I thought I would give this a go, and all I can say is WOW ! I followed the instructions adding two drops of Solution 1 (Remover) on first and then I left it a few minutes, then wiped it off and the surfaces were perfectly clean, no streaky marls of anything ! I then followed it up with Solution 2 Purifier (alcohol based I think) and that was it, all done in about 4 minutes, whereas before I spent about 30 minutes using various solutions and still never got a good result that I was happy with. You use so little of the solution it will last a lot longer then you think. This little kit is worth every penny as it does such a fantastic job in no time, and therefore I give it 5 stars, and I can't recommend it enough.. it literally is 'magic.'

Awesome Product, bought this for a build I did the other weekend, being my first build I wasn't sure if a cheap cleaning kit would work very well so thought i'd go with this one as it had a lot of 5 stars & good feedback plus it came with both the cleaner & purifier in the same pack. So happy I did, i don't know how well the cheap stuff would of worked as it was my first time building up a pc so I've not had any experience with other products like this until now, but it actually blew me away how good this stuff was, it started to work the second it made contact with the thermal paste & i was amazed how quick it was to get the cpu fully cleaned off & ready to be installed into my new motherboard. The bottle is designed so it dips out very slowly so u can put just a drip or 2 on to a cotton bud to apply it to the old thermal paste, the bottles are only 30ml each but because you only need a tiny amount each time there's still loads left in the bottles, so this product will last for multiple builds. On the whole its a great product & i will be buying again.

My PS3 ended up not working one day. Read online that people had had success with reapplying the thermal paste on the processors, which is why I bought these. Now this is no reflection on the Arctic Silver Products, but maybe more on me and my gorilla hands break something, but my PS3 still does not work. The products however, were great. The cleaner portion of the duo pack you receive works really well. You pop maybe one or two drops on (depending on how much you have to clean off) and wipe away with a tissue. The cleaner did the job great, the processor was gunk free after a few minutes of cleaning. Now onto the primer... The purifier worked as it should, it just makes sure the surface is ready for the new Thermal paste. This was good too. Left a clean smell, to be honest I did not touch it to see, as I would have had to clean it again! The size of the bottles, they may look small, but I cleaned two processors, and purified them both. I can safely say I still have 3/4 (or more) of the bottles left over. Well worth it if you have a lot of PC's you need to clean. Conclusion: I would buy both this again, as I believe both products worked well and did what they were supposed to do. I am unable to compare this to any other products as I have not tried any.

Effective at removing thermal paste, smells a bit. The purifier cleans the surface well. I used this when I was removing the stock cooler from my R9 290 so I could replace it with a third party cooler. The thermal material remover works as described (the online manual from the arcticlean website is useful, too) and the purifier did a visually pleasing job at polishing the surface ready for the cooler (with its own thermal paste). Had a hairy moment when some of the remover ran off the gpu onto the surrounding regions of the processor area but I cleaned it off with the purifier as best I could but there don't appear to be any problems after a couple of days of using the card under load. Health and safety: Works well enough but please use in a well ventilated environment. Didn't give 5 stars because it appears to work, but I've only used it once as yet and perhaps it's a little early to say it's that good. I'd recommend, though.

Excellent Removing and Purifying solution for your CPU. The original Thermal Pad on my CPU, had disintegrated and only a hard dry residue was remaining. I applied a few drops of the Removing solution on to the top face of the CPU and the Fan Heatsink surface, and waiting for 30 seconds, then wiped it clean with a lint free cloth, since the original thermal pad had hardened, there was still some residue remaining, however, carrying out the process again removed everything, leaving a clean surface, ready for purifying with the Purifying solution. I then applied some Arctic MX-2 Thermal Compound Paste, and reassembled together. Now the CPU works great, remains cool!!

Great product and great customer service. Followed the instructions put on maybe 2-3 drops waited for 10 seconds and thermal paste came straight off no problem. put 1 drop on lint free cloth to clean around cpu and no problems. I noticed when putting on the purifier (part 2 ) there seemed to be a white liquid substance which i believe is from the thermal paste mixing in but no problems what so ever. Temps are around 55-60 full load, 25-27 idle with the H110i GT Best thing which gives 5 star to the seller is was my H110i gt came on 26th. Talked to the seller as i needed it asap to install and amazingly he boosted it to 1st class which was a great act and very much obliged by him/her and when it was dispatched.1 and a half hours it was at my door and my cooler was in. Would like to thank the seller for the quick shipping on the side of my request. Will do business again

Les deux produits ont fait des merveilles pour préparer mon microprocesseur et mon processeur graphique, le nettoyage est impécable. Il n'y a plus qu'à appliquer correctement la pâte thermique. Votre ordinateur dissipera mieux la chaleur produite et sera plus performant. Il existe de nombreux tutos concernant ce sujet sur internet, ils sont à voir absolument si vous ne connaissez pas ce genre d'opération, si vous ne voulez pas gaspillez de matière, si vous voulez au final de bons résultats. -- Xavier Malghem

Ich habe das Produkt aufgrund der guten Bewertungen hier bei Amazon gekauft und bin nicht enttäuscht worden. Die Wärmeleitpaste ging ganz einfach und vor allem restlos vom Prozessor runter ohne das ich viel Mühe damit hatte. Der Prozessor sah quasi aus wie neu. Ein paar Tropfen der Lösung reichen vollkommen aus so dass ich hier sicher noch einige Zeit was von dem Produkt haben werde. Auch die zweite Lösung zum vorbereiten der neuen Wärmeleitpaste ist sehr einfach und angenehm zu verarbeiten. Die Flaschen sind genau beschriftet so das jederzeit klar ist, welche Lösung wann benutzt werden soll. Allerdings ist die Beschriftung nur in Englisch vorhanden. Das Produkt riecht überhaupt nicht unangenehm oder aufdringlich und auch die Finger tragen hinterher keine Spuren von der Reinigung. Es handelt sich also um ein wirklich unauffälliges Produkt.

I saw a YouTuber using this stuff by the name of MrMario2011 to remove old phase change material off of an Xbox 360 and boy does this stuff work Just hit it with the one two punch and it's gone no but for real The number one solution once applied let it sit for a few minutes and the old phase change material or thermal paste compound comes off like a breeze with one swipe then once cleaned use the number two solution and it leaves a mirror finish works great definitely will buy again when I run out.

Lo he utilizado para arreglar el problema de calentamiento de mi PS3 FAT. El resultado no podia ser mejor, cumple perfectamente su función limpiando todos los restos de pasta térmica y dejando las zonas totalmente limpias para poder aplicarle de nuevo una pasta térmica de mayor calidad que cumpla mejor la función que la de serie.
