Initially I didn't pay attention to the instruction to close the bag by going across and then back again with the closure!I'm not sure they save a massive amount of space, as they curl up a fair bit so don't stack flat, and no way could I get a duvet in the jumbo one.I did manage to get a king size quilted throw in, after some careful folding. But I wanted them for safe dry storage not to use less space. I have managed to organise my bedding in the airing cupboard. Complete king size bed sets fit into a medium bag and it makes easy selection. I'm going to get more in medium and small as I think these sizes will be most useful to me, my winter jumpers can go safely into the loft. They're easy to use-with a vacuum cleaner, I have no idea how the hand pump is meant to work, it did absolutely nothing when I tried it!!!!

Very easy to use, instructions clear and concise. Reduced the size of the pile of clothes quite drastically, exceeding expectation! The seal held securely for the entirety of my 15 hour flight, allowing much more into my suitcase for the return journey than I had travelled out with! Perfect for all those souvenirs :)

What am I doing wrong? I have bought other brands of space bags which have lasted me years. But and however it was time for an upgrade. Saw these and they had pretty good overall reviews. So unless I have got a dodgy batch what is going on, they definitely hold a good amount of stuff. They are thick and thin sturdy and very well made. But and however they don’t seem to stay deflated for very long. I’m hoping it’s just that one bag as I have packed away the others I have use so I haven’t gone to check back on them but I used this bag for winter duvet and a few pillows and as it is on top of my wardrobe, it’s easily accessed Sybil, looking at it the other day, I noticed it had re-inflated somewhat literally a couple of days after I had the inflated it so am I not tightening the valve properly, or is there some kind of leak somewhere? These bags are a great concept for reducing clutter. But only if they actually do what they say they are going to do. I will try and locate the other ones to see if they are slowly reinflating too. If they’re all like the first bag I use I would send them back if I can be bothered I would have got the first ones I brought years ago but they were not in stock. So people beware when selecting this brand.

Used these vacuum bags whilst packing up for a house move. All sizes are very versatile and they definitely enabled me to pack more of my wardrobe into a large suitcase than if I had simply folded and packed the clothes as normal. The bags feel like good quality and that they would withstand quite a few vacuums and openings before showing any wear.One thing to be aware of is that depending on the items inside, the pack doesn't always vacuum down flat. This is more to do with the contents and not the product. Also, once the air is sucked out, the larger packs can feel heavy and there is no 'give'. This wasn't a problem for me but it might have been a consideration if I was using these to travel with (thinking about baggage weight allowance).All in all, 5* for these bags. I hope to get lots of use out of them.

Speedy delivery. Seemed expensive, but really strong, different sizes and reusable so well worth the cost. Used for packing clothes and bedding etc. for house move. No broken bags and none opened despite being thrown around by the removal guys. The only issue was the plastic pump, which broke the first time it was used, and our vacuum does not have a suitable attatchment. So ended up sitting /laying on top of the bags to get the air out. This proved how strong they are! Recommend.
