The media could not be loaded. This was a surprisingly beautiful variety of genuine opals for $7. That violet-blue and amber colored one with all the fractures is just stunning. Are all of them gem worthy? Nope, but it was under ten dollars, so I wasn't really going in with super high expectations. I can absolutely cut a couple of these (or just leave them raw and natural) and set them to make beautiful jewelry, which was what I was hoping for. Even the white one with zero fire would look nice facetted.This is a great deal for anyone getting into opal cutting who doesn't want to risk hundreds to thousands of dollars as they learn to cut opal. Absolutely recommend.

Low quality. One rock was thin, too thin to tumble. And another was only about 15% opal, the rest was the ugly outer rock. They were much smaller than I expected. I recommend the seller add an image to show the scale properly to reduce the misunderstandings and bad reviews based solely on size. I am returning them, and reordering in hopes of getting better quality. If theyre up to par I will update my review, if not you can assume theyre just as bad.(Photos of all the rocks included, the flat/thin one, and the 15% one)

First time to order these after looking on ebay I decided to just take a chance with Amazon. I understand that they go by carat weight but I don't feel like the description should say jumbo. Some have color but some don't. And I feel like the picture shows more quality and color than what you actually get. These were for a project and now I know what they are all about. I wouldn't recommend buying them as in not sure what a person would do with them besides collect them. And in that case so some research and find a decent specimen. As far as the money part it was only a few dollars so I'm not out a ton. I would have given 5 stars if they all had color.

There is more hard compacted dirt and ugly rock than opal. They are still pretty just the opal is very very small.

These are very nice.. in fact it is our 3rd time in a Year to order them.. the weight was over 27 carots which is better than advertised.. awesome color on these , the best in 3 times! Highly recommended as the price is RIGHT! BETTER THAN ADVERTISED!!

Only had a few that were basically all rock. Picture is of the decent ones out of the group.* Video is of most recent.As seen in other reviews, it's a hit an miss. 1st order was perfect, I've made 4 orders all together...2nd was lost, never returned my message or a refund. Going to be contacting Amazon for the refund. 3rd order was today, very small, no fire, nowhere near how the 1st order was. Still waiting on my 4th and last order...hoping it doesn't get lost like the other one. Was hoping to find a new store to buy regularly from as stated above..it's hard to find good opals!
