Robust long life cheap
This (Osram & GE) Compact fluorescent light which gives long life in outdoor use coupled to PIR, also goes to full light output quite quick - very important in a security setting. Much cheaper and better availability than LED. And in my experience LED bulbs in similar location I.e. South/Southwest facing warmer summer, high winds/exposed and cold winter up to minus 8degrees just don’t last as long. Longevity of this bulb on this switched basis is about 4.5years (LED 2 yrs).

Worked for 5 months only..
Product stopped working after buying it in November. Apparently there's no easy way to get support as their website is rubbish and won't allow me to contact the technical support.

Check the fitting before ordering
Didn’t fit cause of the plastic bit. Had to cut it off. Arrived as promised otherwise

Happy with this
I'm happy with this. It was the perfect replacement. It seems well made and fixing it in it went in securely. The brightness and speed of illumination was good enough.
