Mozzarella and Ricotta Cheese Kit by Sandy Leaf Farm

I am very pleased with my first batch of ricotta cheese. Initially only a few curds appear as you heat the milk, then you hit the correct temperature and suddenly the magic happens. Be warned that 4 litres of milk makes a lot of cheese to eat within a week!

I did use my own method, not the one suggested here, but i made some great mozzarella! Curds were stretchy and perfect and set very well! The whey and curds separated almost immediately afterwar introduction of the portion of /tablet/ rennet. Brilliant kit! Cloth was a godsend

Arrived quickly, contains all the specialist ingredients you'll need. A cute & easy instruction booklet. It's really nice & great for beginners such as myself, would make a super gift for a cheese lover. The cheese turned out fantastic (the second time when I actually followed the instructions lol)

Great kit we did it as soon as it arrived and the resutls are very tasty, can recommend them to all who like Mozzarella. and its so easy to do!

Followed instructions to the letter and couldn't make the cheese. Instructions provided suggest that it can be very much a chase of trial and error, which is a bit disappointing after wasting 8 pints of milk!

Absolutely disgusted this kit contained one rennet tablet, a very small packet of Citicorp acid and salt and a bit of material. Not worth the money!
