I bought this because I keep getting splattered with soup. However I don't use it as much as I thought i would whilst cooking. What it is excellent for is putting over cooked, hot food to either keep warm whilst eating, in case second are wanted, or to leave food out and keep the food covered as it cools. It's more space saving than a lid (which not all my pans have). So long as the holds are over the pan, then it's versatile for various pan sizes. So functionality is good. It is really easy to clean and easy to use. The quality is good, it will last a long time I don't have a reason to knock any stars off, as it does more than what I intended it to do.

I’ve tried a few splashguards, and all of them merely reduce splatter, they don’t eliminate it entirely. This one is the best I’ve ever used. Almost no fat makes it out of the pan. It also has handy indents which allow it to fit multiple pan sizes, with a cutout to securely fix it around the handle. I have deducted one star because the coverage is so good is does tend to lend a steaming function to your pan, which is great if you’re trying to cook an egg or a piece of fish, but not so good if you’re making a steak or something you want crispy. Well worth the money, overall. Oh, and the biggest boom is cleaning it. It’s easy. There’s no mash to clog up with gunk, you just wipe it down and it’s done.

Excellent! It fits over the frying pan and the handle is heat-proof. No need to clean the other pans or the hob. A great product.

Was just what i was looking for well made

Bought this as a replacement for one I'd had for years. It's brilliant and does the job, however in opening the packaging I found a chip of plastic loose. There was a defect in the plastic where the handle meets the metal lid. Such a shame as the rest of it is fab. Have pushed it back together and am hoping it doesn't drop off into my food or get stuck in the dishwasher. Am contemplating super gluing it. Too much of a palaver to return it!
