Reliable, Simple, and Still Going Strong
Reliable, Simple, and Still Going Strong I’ve been using the SanDisk Cruzer Glide 32GB flash drive for a while now, and it continues to impress me with its reliability and simplicity. The retractable USB connector is a small but very handy design choice—no cap to lose, and it slides in and out smoothly. At 32GB, it’s plenty of space for documents, photos, and even some videos, especially for everyday tasks like moving files between computers or keeping backups of important items. Performance-wise, it’s a USB 2.0 drive, so it’s not blazing fast compared to newer USB 3.0 or 3.1 options, but for the price and what I use it for—basic file transfers—it does the job without any hiccups. I’ve never had it fail to be recognized by a computer, and transfers have always been stable. One thing to keep in mind is that if you’re regularly moving large files like HD movies or doing a lot of big data transfers, the speed limitation will be noticeable. But for everyday users who need dependable storage at a low cost, this drive works exactly as it should. Bottom line: A dependable, budget-friendly flash drive with a clever retractable design, perfect for everyday storage and file transfers.

Work well, with capacity to spare, hold up over years of use.
Great little USB drive. I bought the 2.0 flash drive to use with an older stereo system that accepts USB drives for input. I was doubtful whether the older system would accept a 3.0 drive. I put almost all of my classical CD's on this thing (and I had a LOT), and there's plenty of room to spare. Love it. I'll probably put my jazz collection on here, too since there's more than enough room. I've had very good luck with SanDisk flash drives - this is my third one, the oldest one's about 5 years old, and the newest is a 32-gig 3.0 drive I use with my TLC Roku TV to pause broadcast TV shows I'm watching. All three USB drives perform flawlessly. Great price, great performance. Couldn't ask for more!

Value's Worth
This is a dependable and reliable USB. If you are looking for something light, portable, and dependable to transfer the minimal files from your desktop to laptop, or somewhere you can store your digital movies to later be plugged into your smartTV to have movie marathon this little fella will get the job done. Now, it isn't your fancy 3.0, but at 2.0 transfer rates are still pretty good. It works as intended. There's nothing wrong with a slightly slower transfer rate. I mean, unless you're life depends on having faster transfer rates, you will be perfectly okay having this SanDisk Cruzer as your sidekick. Unless you want a little more storage space, then just go for 128 or whatever size suits you best. But you cannot go wrong with this device. You definitely get your money's worth.

Overall pretty good...for small files under 4GB.
These are pretty good flash drives. They are small, light weight, and cheap. But they are worth you money. BUT BE WARNED. You cannto transfer files larger than 4GB onto them. Like downloaded movies from iTunes, which are like 5-6GB. They wont accept it. That is the ONLY reason I bought these, and I cannot use them for that purpose. That is why I am giving it 4 stars. There is a way to reformat the drive to accept larger files, but then the thumb drive cannot be used to be plugged into a TV or DVD player or Playstation/Xbox and play the data off of that. So reformatting it to put the larger movies on it is pointless since I cant watch them on my TV or whatever. Anyways. Just a small issue. for any normal use or file storage, it is great. just not for larger files.

Works well, but with a limitation
I was using this flashdrive to store a movie I made for my daughter. At first it said my file was too large for the flashdrive, but after several hours of searching, I found out how to change the flashdrive so it would store the video. Apparently the format FAT32 limits the amount of data to 4GB. Formatting the flash drive as exFat or NTFS will solve the issue. 1. Double-click on my computer. 2. Right-click on the flash drive, then select Format. 3. In the File system, click exFAT or NTFS. 4. Click Start. 5. Click OK to start formatting. One word of caution. This will erase everything from the flash drive, so I saved the information that came on the drive to another location (desktop) before formatting. Once the movie was saved, I moved the information back to the drive. It worked perfectly.

Awesome Product!
So, this is the first time using a thumb drive. I looked at this one, and I liked its affordability, however I was almost scared off by the bad reviews, especially the ones about it not working with Windows 10, which is what I have. But, after I got it, I popped it into my laptop, it set up automatically, and I immediately started transferring my MANY music files to it. It took less than 20 minutes. I then took it out and popped it into my desktop, and immediately was able to put my music on said desktop. So, very easy to use, great memory and affordable. 5 Stars!

Well Made & Works Great
Don't know what other people are complaining about. I ordered 4 of these and they all work without any problems. I mostly use them to edit stuff like vids, music, jpg, gifs, and game files. One of the things i like the most about them is that they don't get super hot after hours of editing. Are they made to last? i'd say hell yeah they are. I say this because I also have a older SanDisk flash drive, (built just like this one) that i've had for about 6 years now. I've accidentally dropped, washed, and dried it and somehow none of the files (Music vids, Game, and Doc files) were corrupted and it still works great.

Don't Go Cheap on Storage Media
Before the digital age, when a house caught fire, the occupant somehow knew to reach for the photo albums while fleeing. I back up all photos and crucial documents to these Sandisk flash drives and keep them secure. Sandisk was making these from the moment the technology came out: They always work and keep working. I often buy the most affordable products, but the storage of memories isn't a thing to award to the lowest bidder. I get the quality of the Sandisk brand name, and at a reasonable value. Accept no substitutes! - Was this review of use to you? If so, let me know by clicking "Helpful." Cheers!
