Ohhh my days it's amazing!!!!! Pro level
This bass is sick man. Context I'm a pro signed guitarist as of recently for a big group in the USA.... Why is that relevant? Because I'm blessed to get an advance and buy lots of beautiful expensive professional gear.. No more "budget" stuff and I praise God literally for the opportunity and blessing right? BUT.... this.... Is awesome.... I've had fender jazz basses in the past and this surpassed them by far... Now I'm a guitarist predominantly, but I play bass and drums too and spent a lot of time with both over the years so know my stuff... The pickups on this are awesome. The style of it, it's light weight to me, comfortable to play, and looks bloody sexy as hell. It's super cheap for what you're getting out of it honestly like, it reminds of the squire affinity, fender made a mistake by making it too good for the price right? Same thing here. First. It doesn't drop out of tune easy. Straight out the box action isn't bad, I might move it slightly lower out of personal preference but it isn't too "high" by any means. Totally 100% enjoyable and playable straight out the box! I haven't even restrung it nor stretched them in and it barely drops out of tune. Seriously it's a beast. Plugged into the fender rumble 25watt practice Amp with the distortion on its an absolute beaut!!! You can get so many genres and tones out of it too, blues, hard rock, metal, worship, country you name it this bass can do it and do it VERY WELL! I adore it and I bought it to use in the UK just for demo work and writing ideas etc, not to record or gig with, but honestly it can easily do it all! I'm buying it again in Texas and return this one here as I'm leaving in a couple weeks, but I'm glad I got this and tried it, i immediately fell in love when I took it out purely on its looks initially... Then it just got better and better as I went through the motions testing it! It's that good it literally made me want to start playing more bass than guitar..... Only for a little bit... Then I snapped out of it lol.... But being a 5 string too it's so much more versatile than the boring, limiting 4 stringers, the lows are super sexy too, Honestly for the price of it it's a steal... You're mental not buying it. It's literally like playing a $1k bass... Yeah OK the neck isn't smooth and sexy like a more expensive bass but that's more ashtetics, the main things at this price level is the fret work, tuning, tone, set up And it ticks all boxes! No sharp or rough or raised frets, lovely to play, beautiful versatile tone, nicely set up and I honestly struggled to get it to go OUT of tune! I'm excited to get it over in America and get some of my own choice of strings on! As this sounded super good with the stock strings! So I can't even imagine how much better it can be with some decent strings on if it sounds that good with stock strings! Buy it and enjoy it ladies and gents!

Great value
As a 6 string player, I am no bass expert. Wanted a more funky sound than the Jazz I already had, but didn't want to break the bank..... turns out WAY better than my fender.... Great playability, great sound, beautiful looks.... Only downside is in the studio, recording with the ' phat ', not great. Brilliant bass.... worth double 👌👌👌👌

Superb quality
Ibanez basses are superb and I have an SR300 already. Decided to go for this GSR205 and I was really blown away by the quality and finish on this model. Brilliant value for under £300, cracking bass. You won't be disappointed. I love it.

Nice Product
The guitar is very light. Still waiting to hear the quality of the sound when our professional base guitarist is around.
