Q: Can this be flush mounted?

There is an approximately 6” down rod that comes with the fan. It must be used to mount the fan because there is no “ceiling mount” as an option for the unit. You may however, purchase an optional longer length rod (as we did) for longer drop from the ceiling, but there is no way to make it shorter or flush mount it.

Q: Can I install on a 6ft down rod from ceiling?

Yes, it can be used with a 72" rod, which is the longest that can be used with this fan.

Q: Anyone know the canopy diameter where it meets the ceiling?

Even though 12 blades make it tough to fit anything through to the ceiling, mine looks to be right around 6 inches.

Q: What ProgressLighting downrod color is closest to this architectural bronze? This bronze is almost black; they have 2 bronzes available.

I have black with distressed walnut blades and would not think to consider them bronze.
