Fantastic for the price
You maybe asking your self is this martin smith acoustic guitar worth the price we'll yes it is I bought this simply to learn and then move onto a electoral guitar 🎸 Well for the price this guitar is fantastic the packaging is not the best but you wouldn't expect the best packaging for the price this guitar sounds great and is well built no marks or anything bent or out of shape if your looking for a fantastic beginner guitar well you found it never judge something by the pics or the price point because its always going to a hit and miss this would be perfect for someone looking for a decent guitar that comes with everything you basically need on a low budget that's my thoughts about this guitar anyways hope you feel the same way I did when I got mine thank you

Good Guitar for the price
My son loves it, he uses it for his guitar lessons at college hence the coloured stickers on the frets which his teacher gave him. The guitar balances on the stand with no problems, and he loves the case which he can just sling over his shoulder while hes walking up to college you can also carry it in your hand, this is the second case he has had though, the first one what came with the guitar the straps broke within a couple of weeks, but after getting in touch with Amazon customer services they sent a partial refund to cover the cost of another case which he then bought. The capo was not included which you can see in the photo , he had to buy this himself. The sound is great, he has had to buy some more strings as the ones on it seemed to be breaking quite easily, not sure if it was just him as he has never had a guitar before so wasn't sure what he was doing to start with or the string were just weak. All in all it seems like a very good guitar for the price.

Excellent quality guitar
I bought this guitar for my son and was mazed at the quality. It looks great, sounds great and my son has not stopped playing it. It came with everything you need for a beginner. Excellent quality and great value for money. Would definitely recommend

Not a terrible guitar
I bought this for my son who has decided to learn the guitar. I am more than aware you get what you pay for, but I was hesitant in getting an expensive instrument unless my son shows some commitment. The first one to arrive was well packaged, appeared fine, however after tuning (which took some effort) my some was playing and the head-stock snapped off (which I have to opine I had never seen before and had I not been in the room would have assumed he smashed it). This was clearly a manufacturing issue. We requested a refund and I ordered another working on the assumption that this was a one off. Of course I am a little out of pocket as Amazon refund only part of the cost of sending back the Guitar. Their idea that you can get a signed for delivery of a guitar for £4 is somewhat far fetched, but I won't fall out with Amazon over £11.50 The second guitar arrived, again well packaged. I continued to tuning the guitar and snapped the 6th string "E" this was because tuning it past D# seemed impossible. The guitar comes with spare strings which are of much better quality than the ones on the guitar to start with, which means there can be no real complaint. All of the other strings tuned fine with a little effort. Overall this guitar is fine, its a nice starter and can be tuned perfectly. If you are new to guitar's do buy an electronic tuner, though you will know (most people at least) when the guitar is correctly tuned, the tuner just gives you the extra confidence. Also don't panic if you snap a string! It happens. I would buy another, I would recommend this guitar, but please don't expect to get the best instrument in the world. It does its job to a reasonable standard, and for £50 that's all you could possibly ask.

Perfect for beginners
I got this guitar as I’ve been wanting to start playing for a while now and it’s safe to say this guitar kit has to be the best purchase I have made in a while. It’s easy to use and even comes with a free trial on music lessons with simply guitar and online tutoring. It looks amazing and has a great sound to it.

Appears to be a very good 'starter kit'.
Bought as an Xmas present for someone who wants to learn to play a guitar. Arrived on time, undamaged and securely packed. I say 'undamaged' - the tough grey plastic weatherproof wrap and the outer cardboard box had a finger sized 'peep hole' pushed through, either accidentally or deliberately. - but inside the outer box, the stand box, case bag, tuner box and guitar box appear present and undamaged. The person I'm buying it for has never even held a guitar so maybe they'll like guitar playing, maybe they won't. This seems a very reasonable price to pay for them to find out. I'll admit I don't know the first thing about guitars, beyond a few lessons in my youth, but most of the reviews I looked up on guitar sites and musicians sites seem to suggest the W100 is a good beginners guitar - or at least as good as any others in the £50-£80 'starter' price range. This set seems particularly good value as it has all the basic accessories: a bag, a stand, a tuner, some picks, strap, spare strings, even 'online lessons' ..... to go with the guitar. The only extra thing I could think of to add was a capo/clamp. OK, none of the supplied accessories are 'top of the range' but they all look perfectly functional - and 'a lot better than nothing'. As its a present for someone, I obviously haven't fully unpacked this kit, but my overall impression is 'very good value for money'.

In ogni caso buona musica a tutti!
