I've been an enthusiast of LED Strip-Lights since they first became available for home use at a reasonable price. Over the years, I've bought and replaced several sets, and had become convinced that they were all essentially the same. However, I was proven completely wrong when I discovered this particular product.This app has revolutionized the experience of using LED Strip-Lights, making them significantly superior to any others I've tried before. The user interface is incredibly intuitive, allowing for seamless control of the lights' various functions. From adjusting brightness to selecting from a wide range of vibrant colors, the app provides an unmatched level of customization.What truly sets these lights apart is the astonishing quality of the colors. The vividness and brilliance of the hues are simply breathtaking, even impressing my teenage children, who are notoriously difficult to please! The ability to sync the lights with music and set up dynamic lighting effects has added an entirely new dimension to our home ambiance, making every moment special.In summary, this product, combined with its innovative app, has elevated my LED Strip-Light experience to an entirely new level. Overall, these lights are terrific. They light up the living space with vibrant colors and bright effects. The RGBIC feature was something I didn't know I wanted, but now I can't live without. Especially in combination with other Govee lights, these strips bring some amazing ambiance and life to a room.The strips themselves, as others have mentioned, are overall good, but have some flaws.First, the good: I love that the strips are black so they don't clash with the color of the TV. Also the dedicated corner wires make it so you don't have to deal with the confusion on how to twist the strip around corners without breaking them, so that's a big plus. I have a 55in TV and these fit around the back rim perfectly.The major flaw comes in the adhesive. This can really be hit or miss. For example, 3/4's of my strip had good ahesive that has stayed secure for months now. However, out of the package, the last 1/4th of the strip had very little to no adhesive at all and could not hold itself up. Fortunately, Govee rectifies this by including some dedicated mounting brackets, so I was able to use them to finish mounting the strip. It would be better if the mounting brackets were colored black instead of white so the colors don't clash, but functionally they get the job done where the adhesive fails.Despite that, the lights and the many patterns are great. The app itself to control the lights can be finicky, but after taking a few minutes to walk through the app, you'll find the basic functions. I wish that there was a way to slow down some of the light patterns, as some of them are extremely fast moving.Overall, I would highly recommend these lights. They are affordable, versatile, and have a wide variety of features. The adhesive can be hit or miss, but regardless, these lights are terrific.

I bought this LED light to place behind my TV, and it completely transformed my setup! The ambient lighting looks amazing, especially when watching movies or gaming—it adds such a cool vibe to the room.The Bluetooth function is super convenient and works flawlessly. I love being able to control the colors, brightness, and effects right from my phone. Setup was quick and easy, and the adhesive sticks really well.

Generally, the install went OK. Pairing with the WiFi router, and Bluetooth Govee app went without issue. The Govee app is pretty comprehensive, and allows for very unique customization.On the down side, the product was from old, aging stock, resulting in the deterioration of the adhesive. The adhesive bonded to the backing tape, pulling off of the LED light strip...hence no adhesive. Half of the plastic clips did not bond. Other reviewers reported similar adhesive problems: "We are not suggesting that Govee’s adhesive is low in quality, but over time, the adhesive on the strips can degrade, especially if they have been exposed to air for too long before application."Govee support was responsive, and generously offered to refund the full purchase. I declined the offer, since I fixed it with a fresh roll of 3/8" 3M VHB doubled sided tape. No need to add more junk to our landfills.I would buy again, since overall, the product performed as expected, once installed. However, be prepared to buy a roll of VHB tape.

I have purchased a Govee bluetooth thermometer so I'm not new to the Govee family, however this is my first lighting purchase from them. I have other generic "when the tv comes on, the LED strip turns on" LED strips on another TV that just turn on and white when the TV has power. These Govee ones are many many steps above those!First is the quality of the strips themselves - you can tell R&D was put into these. They aren't cheap & flimsy. The sticky backing stays securely on the strip. They are very high quality.What I think truly sets this apart from others is the app/ability to customize and control the LED strip. Want to turn the LED strip off? No problem. Touch of a button on the app. Want to change colors? No problem. Easily found & changed in the app. What I REALLY thought was cool was how other people can create cutom LED colors/settings that YOU can then apply to your own LED light strip. (Since we just got through with Christmas, someone had created a Red & Green led animation that certainly added a Christmas/Holiday vibe to whatever room the TV/led strip was in).Installation takes 5-10 minutes, including setup with the app on your phone. Had no issues at all and ended up liking them so much I purchased a few more just because the price was SO good.
