Amazon Essentials Men's Full-Zip Fleece Jacket - Discontinued Colors

The Fit: I am 6ft,165lb with broad shoulders, long arms and no gut. I wear a size MEDIUM like a sweater with only a Tshirt underneath. In MEDIUM it fits me with a trim fit and the sleeves are the right length for me. It fits me perfectly. To wear this as a jacket over thicker base layers I might need a size larger. The sleeves are attached at a sensible angle so it is possible to raise the arms freely and move freely, which is a very welcome feature, thank you Amazon! The Material / Stretch: I have three colors: the red buffalo plaid, charcoal heather and navy blue. The charcoal heather and navy blue are a traditional fleece that has some normal stretch to it but is not a "stretch" fabric. The red plaid feels more like a felt that doesn't stretch very much. I like them all but the red plaid is a bit tight in the elbows at first but does eventually stretch to fit. Warmth: It is a mid-weight fleece like advertised. I wear it indoors like a sweater. Pockets: The inner wall of the pockets are constructed of the same fleece as the jacket, so that creates two layers of fleece in those areas, making the jacket feel thicker in that area but not bulky. I would prefer pockets made of a thinner mesh or fabric but that isn't a big issue. The extra fabric adds some warmth that some people will prefer. Pockets are deep and have zippers so are both warm and secure. I've had these jackets for about 6 weeks and wear them frequently, sometimes with a vest over the top for additional warmth when needed. This is a nice item, no complaints so far.

12/07/2022 reviewed again: I bought two Large at the very first time. I am 5’7” tall.177lbs weight. It fits me perfectly. Three days after I receive them. I bought another one for myself again and two for my brothers. This Amazon Essentials Polar fleece jacket is soft and warm. It’s thickness is medium, thick enough to keep me warm.. That’s why I would like to give 5 Stars Plus. I sewed the issue by myself. Amazon Essentially product lines are as reliable as just like Costco’s Kirkland brand. Love it. Large size is perfect for me. I would like to give this fleece jacket 5 stars plus. Everything about the jacket is perfect. Very resonable price,very comfortable,very good quality... But the huge pockets inside have not sewn on purpose. I don't know why. The other brand of jackets with big pockets never have the issue like this. Don't put your cell phone inside the big pocket. Suggestion to Amazon: Please sew the pockets completely.

I have had an older C9 (Champion) fleece for years and wear it whilst doing chores-construction-insulation-painting-caulking...etc. That now is falling apart and looks like an artist's studio floor. Time for a new fleece of some sort. So, with the awesome price, I tried the Amazon fleece. My old one was 1/4 zip and that was fine. Full zip? Good for us older people who don't want to mess up our hair. Just easier to manage. Star #1. It is a pleasant color and very nice fleece fabric. Star #2 It has 2 side pockets that zip. Star #3 The zipper is flawless and the comfort, fit and stretchiness makes it like a second skin. Star #4 There are compartments inside where the pockets attach to the side seam. If this was sewn all the way down to the waist, it would be an inside pocket and a place to stash my cell phone. It is left open and I may just sew it closed myself but this is the minus 1 Star for this garment. It should have a cell phone pocket somewhere. I guess if it was designed that way, it would cost 2-3 times more. Size wise- I am wearing medium and I like it. A little snug but this is my preference. Not binding. I am 5ft 9in and weigh 170lbs. It fits as expected. Good quality. Good Value.

I have a broken shoulder, I needed more clothes that zip or button fully in the front, as I cannot wear anything else right now. This is a nice weight material for a chilly day. It would make a good light jacket also, but I am wearing as an "everyday sweater." I'm an active, fit, mid ' 50's woman, normally a medium or large in a ladies T (need comfortable room in the bust). A man's XL in this garment was perfect, also important right now as I can't wear anything that impedes or restricts my shoulder. The quality appears very nice, and the fit is nice a roomy, but I'm not swimming, in an XL. It is sewn very nicely, there's nothing "cheap" about this item, in my opinion. I might buy another one, as the price is very reasonable and I am very happy with the quality (and comes in lots of great colors). Also from a female point of view, because this is a man's size, it is a little longer through the torso, than a ladies size would be, and I love that it falls slightly below hip, and is perfect with my favorite cold weather black leggings, which require a slightly below hip length for whatever I'm wearing on top, to look appropriate. The sleeves are too long for my frame, but I easily resolve this by cuffing the sleeves. I will definitely be wearing this after I no longer have dressing problems, is the perfect solution for me!

I ordered one of these jackets for my husband in late summer. He loved it and wore in right into cold weather. He loved it so much that he had me order two more! He can no longer wear them in our Alaska winter weather, but since we keep our house at 68 degrees in the winter, he now wears one around the house. They are just perfect in every way - fit, comfort, warmth and, most of all: affordability. Oh, he wished me to add that they have great pockets - the outside pockets zip shut, plus there are two inner pockets. How could I forget that - he has raved about the pockets. Thank you so much.

Meine erste Polar Fleecejacke von Amazon essentials und bestimmt nicht meine letzte. Das Fleece ist super Dick und eng gestrickt. Man kann die Jacke gegen die Sonne halten und es kommt so gut wie kein Licht durch. Genau das was ich für den Winter gesucht habe. Einzigst das der Reißverschluss "verkehrt herum" ist stört ein wenig. Ich freue mich schon auf den Langzeittest. Ich habe auch einige "Marken" Fleecejacken, da fragt man sich schon warum die so teuer sein müssen. Preis Leistung stimmt da nicht wirklich

Bought it as a layer under my winter gear. Nice fit, heavier fleece then expected which was nice and warm. No issues with the finish so far. Good basic value fleece for the price.

Hormis le fait que la fermeture éclair est inversée (glissière à droite sur soi) ce qui peut en dérouter plus d'un et laisser penser à un modèle pour femme, on a ici une très belle veste polaire, chaude et légère, vraiment très bien finie (coutures parfaites et rectilignes) badgée Amazon Essentials. La coupe est droite et donc bien pour homme (non cintrée). La finition bout de manches, qui ne sont pas trop longues, est bien finie (ourlet surpiqué en tissu). La taille est respectée contrairement à ce que j'ai pu lire (+/- 100 cm poitrine/taille) Idem pour la longueur. La fermeture éclair est de bonne facture et semble solide et là aussi rectiligne et bien cousue. Les 2 poches sont également à fermeture éclair et sont surpiquées à l'intérieur pour offrir 2 poches intérieures supplémentaires. Le veste est très confortable et légère (500 gr.) en plus d'être relativement chaude sans être étouffante. Le col, suffisamment haut, une fois fermé remonte bien sous le menton, sans excès. Bref une jolie veste dont la seule inconnue reste sa tenue dans le temps. J'en ai d'ailleurs aussitôt recommandé une seconde, même taille mais couleur différente tant elle me plait.
