Grabdson was very happy with this special boxset. Already had the other one but wanted this set.

I just finished reading this series, I first got the first book in a charty shop, partly on a wim after seeing the movie and found it to be enjoyable tale of a boy named Percy who finds his life changed when he discovers he the son of one of the top three Greek gods. The top three gods, supposedly made a vow not to have any more demi-god children aka half human/half god but they aren't exactly good at keeping promises. Sure in some ways its a little like Harry Potter with the hero discoving his heirtage, where's Harry Potter books tend to get dark and moody as the series goes on, the Percy Jackson books thou getting dark, have plenty of humour to break the suspence of the story and make you laugh out loud. The books themselves have very nice covers and come packed in a neat box, which saved me some trouble in looking at the various versions of the books, and deciding what state to buy them in (AKA pre-owned, bah, bah, bah)! If you liked the Harry Potter books then I can't recommend this series more, because it's fun to read and takes a lot of the old Greek myths and gives them a modern make over as a lot of the old monsters and stuff can't truly die, they just reform, evenly. The bulk of the books story isn't happening in Grease but the US, mostly around the big famous cities like New York or LA! So what you waiting for, get a set of these books they are hard to put down and fully engrossing stories of young teenage Demi-gods and their adventures/quests!

Bit confused as I spent the extra to get the hard cover books, only for it to be paperback in a case. I can only blame myself for not doing enough research and trusting this website, but it should probably still be listed as a different addition paperback at least? I love this book series way too much to consider giving it a lower rating. Just sad that I could have saved money. On the plus side, the covers are beautiful!

I've read the entire series before several times and really enjoy these books. After watching the new series on Disney+ I was impressed how closely they mirrored the books and wanted to read them again, but this time in paper format. The set arrived wrapped in clear plastic and packaged in an appropriately sized boxed, so the books are all in perfect condition. I'm very happy with this purchase!

I am pleased with this item, it arrived 2 days after I ordered it which was earlier than I was expecting. I was a little apprehensive as some other sellers were charging slightly higher prices and therefore I was worried about the condition of the books I would receive even though it is stated as new. From the pictures you can see its new, its saran wrapped and comes in a cardboard box like case which book series usually come in. Overall, I am pleased and would recommend using this seller.

My Son is a big Harry Potter fan so after reading those about 3 times over I first spotted some Rick Riordan Books in a charity shop and thought he might enjoy them. Enjoy them was an understatement, I would catch him reading till late at night. so for his 10th Birthday at the end of Last month(july) I bought him this box set and he loved it. Currently he's on the last book so I think another box set is required. highly recommended for imaginative book worms 😁
