Anker delivers quality and value on their products
For nearly 30 years, I've worked in the tech sector doing front line support for users. During that time, I've tried many non-Apple cables, and I've found a high failure rate with most of them. The Anker cables, on the other hand, work great, last forever, and come in a variety of lengths (and colors, if that's important to you). I haven't put a clock on it, but they seem to charge just as quickly if not faster than the Apple or other third-party cables. To me, the quality and reliability of Anker cables, as well as their other products, make them well worth the price, and they deliver a superior performance and great value. When I recommend products to friends and family, they're always my go-to.

Anker Powerline+ II: Absolutely, the best Lightning charging cable you'll find!
I originally purchased the "Anker Powerline+ II Lightning Cable (10ft - red)" approximately a year ago, to use for charging my iPhone 7+. The cable, combined with this wall charger: "Anker Elite, 24W, Dual USB PowerPort II," provided the fastest charging I've ever seen with any cable/wall charger variation. If you're going to get the Anker Powerline+ II Lightning cable, I would recommend you make the investment and get the wall charger I listed above as well. You'll immediately notice the very fast charging times that I now experience. But, back to the cable itself: The "Anker Powerline+ II Lightning cable" is hands-down the strongest, yet durable, well-made charging cable I've ever come across (and I have a lot of different brands, sizes, makes, models, colors... you name it, I've got several gallon zip-lock bags full of them)! However, after around 12 months of heavy, heavy use (as I'm on my phone constantly for business, as well as traveling), one of the gold rectangular strips on the charging end of the cable (the part that plugs into the phone), became damaged, and would no longer charge my phone - which I'll admit, the damage was likely my fault. So, I contacted Anker Customer Support, provided the original product purchase information and a picture of the damage, and within a couple of days, a brand new, replacement cable arrived at my door, from Anker... exactly like the one I originally purchased. There was no hassle, no fuss, and no long waiting time for a replacement. I was amazed at the high customer service standard Anker holds themselves to, and so very thankful they do! Now, keep in mind, I take my cable everywhere, and use my phone constantly, so the damage to the cable was most likely my fault, but since they have at least a 12-18 month (and in some cases, a lifetime) warranty on their cables, they replaced my cable (that, mind you, was likely damaged because of something I did), free of charge. No shipping or hidden fees. Anker replaced it absolutely for free and FAST! I did a lot of research before buying a longer length Lightning cable for my iPhone, and made the decision to go with Anker's Powerline+ II. All I can say is, WOW, am I glad I did! If you decide to purchase one, I have no doubt that you'll be glad too! Now, as I write this review, it’s very important to me to include this personal disclaimer: I'm not being paid, or receiving any free products for this review. In fact, I rarely write reviews because they take up too much of my personal time. I just can't help but to make all my reviews, a little... lengthy... as this one is now becoming (I'm a journalist; detailed writing is what I do, so forgive the length, please). But, I'll wrap this review up, with this: ed ( In October 2018, I upgraded to the new iPhone XS Max, and started out using the same originally purchased (before I damaged it) "Anker Powerline+ II Lightning cable" for charging, and it worked (with the replacement, it now works) perfectly with Apple's latest and greatest phone! So, please, take my advice: Ditch all other Lightning connector charging cables, and just purchase this ONE. It's all you'll ever need! I have no doubt that you'll be so happy you did! I certainly am! Hope my personal experience with this cable aids in your decision to purchase/not to purchase!

Lasted THREE years - Anker support is amazing!
I used it every single night for 3 years on my bed to charge my phone. My outlet is far away from my pillow so I needed a long cable to comfortably charge and use my phone at the same time. It’s the perfect length and was extremely durable. (Extension cable for power outlet poses a fire hazard so I felt safer with USB power reaching over flammable contents of my bed). Bought this on June, 2019. As of September, 2022 the actual cable is intact with no damage at the bending points (where most cables incur damage). The cable finally stopped working because the lightning side of it had eroded connector pins. If it wasn’t for it, this cable would’ve easily lasted 5 years. But fret not, Anker support is amazing and once I sent them an email detailing the issue, they stood behind their product and sent me a replacement. Charging power didn’t matter as much to me as I just wanted to slow trickle charge my phone overnight. Modern iPhones have special safety measures that allow you to charge overnight and leave your phone plugged in, so I wasn’t too worried about battery drain. It still charges fast enough with a regular Anker Power IQ charging brick. For higher wattage you should be using USB C anyway, so I don’t see this as a point of contention. The nylon braid is super durable and feels sturdy. Because of this special construction, the cable will only twist in certain way before you feel resistance. I suggest you lay out the cable flat and don’t try to charge with a forced twist. Also avoid bending in the close corners to prevent damage near the connectors. I took good care of the cable and got it to last as long as it did. I had bought the same exact cable once before in September 2018 and used it for a couple weeks on a road trip. My friends used it without care and it gave away by June 2019, requiring me to purchase the recent one that I just got replaced. Today (September 26, 2022) is day 1 of using the current replacement that Anker sent (it arrived in 2 days!). By the time I give my next update I think iPhones will be switching to USB-C to USB-C cables anyway. Overall, great cable if you need a long cable for bed-side usage. For any issues, always reach out to Anker and they’ll do right by you.

Great Product, Great Warranty, Horrible Customer Service
Anker has several different cables: Powerline Economy Cable, charges well, low price, rubber coated cable, cheap connectors. Powerline II Entry-Level Cable, charges well, low price, rubber coated cable, upgraded connectors. Powerline+ Mid-level Cable, charges well, average price, more durable cable with nylon over the rubber coat, more durable connectors. Powerline+ II High-End Cable, charges fast, high price, Extremely Durable, Best Connectors at both ends of the cables. I only use Anker Cables. The Powerline cables I have all over my house, the cheaper cables are great for areas you'll just put your device down and let it charge. I use the Powerline+ in areas where we actually like to play on the phone while it charges. The neck on the powerline+ is more durable so if you're moving the phone a lot it should handle a lot of bending at the neck of the cable (I have had some of these cable fray at the neck so they are not impervious to bend/break like Apple cables) Finally the powerline+ II I only have a couple of the cables, I use them with my powerbanks beccause not only do they seem to charge faster, but they are more durable and when I'm charging with my powerbank I'm constantly moving, bending, pulling on the cable, have not had a problem with the Powerline+ II, just can't afford to upgrade all the cables in my house with this expensive line. Love Anker Products. Anker stands by their products and replaces anything for free as long as it's under warranty (usualy 12-18 months depending on the product). There is 1 thing I hate about Anker customer support, they are completely impersonal. You'll read this grievance in my most of my recent reviews, I'll explain and let you decide for yourself if Anker Support could have, should have, treated me better. Just bought multiple items as Christmas gifts for 16 family members (16 power banks, 16 lightning cables, 8 micro USB cables, 8 Wall Chargers, 5 Car Chargers) Not only did I spend a lot of money but I gave Anker 16 new customers that are already purchasing more Anker products. So when my personal 6ft Powerline+ lightning cable broke after a few months of minimal use (exposing the wire) I sent in my request for a new cable. I explained how much I love Anker, how I just got my entire family Anker products and got Anker a bunch of new customers and I was surprised the cable broke so easily. I asked if they could replace my cable with the 6ft Powerline+ II, figuring it may be more durable. Their reply was surprising, they wanted to refund me for my cable so I could purchased the newer cable. They did not offer a discount for the new cable, so essential they were not willing to give me the newer cable for free, it would have cost me a few more dollars and honestly I can't imagine it really costing Anker more than a few cents for the upgraded cable. This is such a huge turn off, I'm the customer you want, not just a guy who buys a cable, but someone who buys many, many products from you, gives your products to all of my family members, and promotes your products to everyone... So many of my friends have also gotten Anker cables based on my recommendation. Highly disappointed in your customer service skills Anker, still love your products but I don't plan on promoting your products until you learn how to treat your GREAT CUSTOMERS BETTER.

Best iPhone Lightning cables I’ve ever bought - Anker Powerline ii
I have bought exclusively various Anker phone charging cables for a while. I only buy the latest version with a lifetime warranty. I think these are the first I’ve bought (about 3 years ago) with the heavy woven fabric sheath. The sheath is extremely heavy, so the cable does not get caught on your desk or on all the crap,on the console in your vehicle. The strain relief on the cables is a heavy, molded, one pice unit. When I first bought a bunch of these sets, they were for gifts for family members. When I sent out texts just before Christmas 2020, everybody’s cables were still working after 3 or so years. Since one of my older model Anker Powerline cables had died, I bought myself a set of these to replace the dead Anker and 2 frayed older non-Anker cables in my truck. From what I’ve seen over the years, most charging cables fail at one of the connectors from being twisted until the conductor wires break, because the strain relief design is defective, the cable sheath is so light that it can twist and break the conductor, or both. Anker seems to have solved both of these problems. The other failure point is somewhere along the lenght of the cable. Accidental but continuous stretching of the cable when it is pulledlode from something, twisted, or stepped on will eventually break one of the wires in a thin, crappy cable. The heavy woven fabric covering of the Anker cable prevents these problems. Another thing I noticed about the longer Anker cables is that the diameter of the Powerline ii 10’ cables are almost twice the diameter of the 3’ cables. I don’t know if that is because they use heavier gauge wire to reduce electrical resistance, or that they just design the longer ones to be more durable than the shorter ones on the theory that they will get more punishment from dog and cat chews because they are longer and more noticeable to pets. in either event, it shows thoughtful design, and results to a superior product. As to value, thin non-Apple cables offer the least because they last almost no time at all and mostly fail when you need them to work. Thin Apple cables seem to last a little, but not really much, longer, and seem at firstn to give you some warning as they went south. But they were massively over-priced for what they are- a ripoff almost on the level of buying replaceable memory from Apple. So, the Anker Lightning cables extremely dependable and reasonably priced, so in my experience, they offer the best bang for the buck. And the 3 pack of different lenghts is more useful than I thought it would be. The ten-foot cable you need in the hotel room to reach between the table and the outlet will get tangled in stuff on your desk or or in your vehicle, where the 3 foot cable is more useful. In my opinion, there is not enough enough price difference to not buy the top of the line Anker cable. You want it to work when you need it - in a lecture hall, a business meeting, a courtroom, sending a photo to you editor, or trying to tether your computer to yr phone on the road..When it fails there, you are not going to think, “well, at least I saved $5 by buying the OOkyx cable”

Decent cable but won’t last forever
Cable served me well for four years but failed at the lightning end. I bought the 10 ft model and I like the cloth sheathing. It would benefit from extending the rubber strain relief turtle up the cord.

Great cable
I am quite fond of this company and the products While they have a warranty I have never used it They last a long time without wearing or tearing I recently had to purchase a new one that was worn out (wasn’t charging anymore ) but it lasted at least a year and was being used for multiple devices all day every day, and often while being used since the cord length is sufficient to plug and play without affecting charging ability. It works quite well

Very reliable and high quality products!
I have used Anker products for a few years, both chargers and charger cables and have found the equipment to be of high quality. Of all the products I own, I have never had a problem or a failure. I highly recommend Anaker to purchase from!
