Dust Stop Zip Door Kit - Pre-Assembled for Easy Installation.

Really pleased with this product. Keeps the dust out completely. Sturdy plastic and strong zip; top quality AND it is reusable so better for the environment. Even the tradesmen are impressed with it and thought it a good idea.

These really work! We knocked the plaster off the walls of our kitchen/ diner and knocked the large chimney breast down. We put these door kits up at the two adjoining doors and not a speck of dust entered either room. (Unfortunately, cannot say the same about the upstairs which is more difficult to isolate because it has open plan stairs from the kitchen. Took hours and several attempts to get clean :-D).Previously, when doing building work, the permanent doors were obviously kept shut but I know from experience the dust still usually gets everywhere! These plastic doors are highly recommended if you want to save yourself hours of cleaning and moving and storing furniture etc. Very easy to fit and they are still up three weeks later. I just zipped open the door and taped the flap to the wall, so we have easy access to the rooms while work is ongoing. We are doing the whole room ourselves so we will be putting up with this chaos for a few weeks yet! These are a superb product and do exactly as advertised. Seller was excellent.

I bought one of these to seal off the back of the house which was undergoing serious renovations. I did this on day 2 because day 1 had already lead to a layer of dust all over everything. They work. They keep the dust out, and are also good for stopping draughts when your house inevitably develops a few more holes to the outside world than you'd initially planned for. In theory they're reuseable but that relies a lot on the type of tape you use and how delicate you and others are with them. I'm not convinced they're going to get reused. Someone else said the zips are like a tent zip, and I'd say that's accurate. They work best when you tape them tautly as the zips are fairly heavyweight. The material is just thick polythene so it will stretch and tear if you (or your builders) aren't careful. After I bought and fitted one the builder got 4 more so we had more flexibility on sealing rooms. 4 stars because they're good but they're a little expensive for one-use seals but aren't really sturdy enough to reliably reuse. One hint, although they open from both sides there's definitely an "outside" and an "inside". Make sure you fit them with the "inside" facing the dust or you'll get filthy hands every time you roll the door up and out of the way.

I got these dust door covers due to works going on in my home. I have to say these are really good and protect the door I would say 90% of most dust coming in and out, but this also does depend on how you tape it to the door as well. Its very easy to use and I love how it comes with 2 sticky pads for you to have in place for the tape sealing to frame. Zip is good and strong, even the plastic is very good and strong. When buying read it properly, I didnt and bought mine without the tape, so had to buy my tape from another place. I liked this so much I had to buy another the next day.

Product its self was ok, the plastic is fairly think and the zip seems strong, the opening could be a little wider and I found it difficult to get anything to stick to both the plastic and my door frame, without it coming loose every time you use the zip!!! reasonably happy but thinks about how your going to attach to the wall, no dust got through from sanding every wall in the kitchen.

If you're having work done on the house, don't hesitate to get these. We bought 3 and covered the entrances to finished rooms. They keep ALL the dust out. Absolutely perfect for the job. Just make sure to use wide (75mm) masking tape to the edges to ensure a good seal. The instructions recommend to trim to fit your door but I folded the edges back and taped on the inside also so it made a double seal. Our neighbours used a cheaper polythene sheet with a full length single zip. As they didn't have the seal to the base, dust still got through. And quite a lot. If the door isn't sealed completely with tape then you get a funneling effect and the draft coming though is amplified and carries a lot of dust, especially if you're having external walls or windows removed and have lots of air movement. Long story short... these work and I'd buy them again in a heartbeat.

My partner laughed at me when I said I wanted to buy these. He thought they were a total waste of time. However we have renovated our living room, which is in the middle of the house and is used to access all of the house. They've contained the mess from taking ceiling down, knocking out a fire place, and sandblasting wood work. Then after the day is done and a bit of clean up you can open the zips and still access the rest of the house without having to totally reseal the room the next day. We had 4, one now has a small tear but it can be taped. We also have 3 small children running though them and trying to trash them which they have not succeeded in doing, so we will fold them up and store for the next D(emolition)IY project. Definitely 5* recommend.

飼い猫が二階のリビングフロアから一階の仕事スペースに降りて来ないように、階段降り口付近の床、壁に白い布テープでガッチリ固定して使っています。貼り付け自体はそれなりのひと作業となりました。ファスナーがビニールに縫い付けてあるのですが、縫製が貧弱なのでほつれやすく、そのたび手縫いで縫い直していますが、まあ、本来は工事用の一時的な使用しか想定していないものでしょうから仕方ないですね。値段も安いし、猫の出入り制限という目的は完ぺきに果たしていて満足しています。

Esta puerta es de plástico resistente, las cremalleras soportan muy bien el continuo abrir y cerrar y sobre todo, crea un espacio estanco por lo que no deja pasar nada de polvo. En mi caso la he comprado para aislar la puerta principal del piso, estamos con la obra del ascensor y han tenido que tirar no solo la pared, si no también la caja de escalera, y el resultado es que mientras mis vecinos no dejan de limpiar porque el polvo (y más el producido por una radial al cortar cemento de un edificio de casi 100 años) se cuela por todos los resquicios, yo solo tengo que asegurarme de que los invitados se descalcen al entrar. En definitiva, totalmente recomendable y lo volveré a adquirir cada vez que tenga una obra en casa.

Hat super gehalten. 3 Wochen lange Badsanierung und kein Staub in der Wohnung. Allerdings hatte ich die Folientür im Flur angebracht, sodass die Handwerker direkt von der Wohnungstür ins Bad kamen und der Rest der Wohnung abgeschirmt war. Im sauberen Bereich direkt vor der Folientür habe ich noch so eine reinraumfußmatte geklebt. Dadurch blieb alles wunderbar staubfrei. Der Reißverschluss hat auch einwandfrei gehalten. 4 Personen und 2 Hunde die ständig rein und raus müssen hat er überstanden. Absolut zu empfehlen!

Protection très efficace contre la poussière. Je m'en suis servi pour isoler quelqurs pièces, tout en rendant possible l'accès, lors des travaux de rénovation à la maison : dépose carrellage, ponçage des murs .... La bâche est suffisament épaisse et la fermeture éclair assez solide pour résister pendant toute la durée du chantier.
