Best tuner I've owned.
I've been using a clip on guitar tuner for years on my fiddle scroll and it's always been quite a faff. This little tuner is firstly a far better tuner, seems more accurate to me, and secondly is designed to fit on the body of the violin where you can see it while bowing (it's never fallen off yet). I saw Ali Bain play a few years ago with one of these.I'm going to buy a guitar version very soon, so impressed am I with this tuner.

Sleek, Easy to Use – Bought It Twice!
Really like this little gadget – the sleek mounting makes it look tidy, and the display is super easy to read at a glance. It’s so compact that I actually lost my first one… but liked it enough to buy the exact same one again! Handy and reliable.

Good fit.
Good fit, easy to use, though the on/off switch is a wee bit iffy when in place on the fiddle. Just takes a bit of care.

Tunes my violin well
I like that you can set the hz <440> higher or lower depending on what you’re tuning to. Quite reliable for tuning. One criticism I have is that the batteries are incredibly hard to charge by hand, this is easily overcome by a pair of needle nose pliers, but maybe I just have terrible grip strength!

Great idea
Absolutely love this. Instead of messing around holding a tuner on your knee or clipping one to the bridge this sits neatly to the body of your violin. It looks tiny to start with but it’s clear and easy to read. I assume that the battery will last ages like all tuners. It’s built well. Don’t know how accurate it a as I haven’t tried it in any other instrument yet. Good price as well. Definitely recommend this.

Worth every penny.
This little gadget is absolutely fantastic. Can't fault it.I clip it onto the back left side of my violin, it fits easily and quickly, I tune it perfectly in seconds with very clear indication from the device that I've done so... and that's that. Simple. It's right in front of you, plain and easy to see. Doesn't get in the way. Works brilliantly. Can't fault it.

Best tuner I've ever had
EDIT: Yes, does fit Fiddles / Violin BUT it keeps falling off because it's feet are so small. Ok if you want to use it then take it off and put it away safe - but in the end it broke falling off onto a hard floor a couple of times. DIsappointed. Had to deduct a couple of stars and now looking for alternativeWell so far I love this. It's tiny! (in a good way!) wasn't expecting that. Very discreet. It actually attaches to all my violins - 1900 acoustic, Sonic electro acoustic and Bridge 5 string electric. Attaches easily to left shoulder of instrument and is fine even on the Bridge - despite less available attachment space. Seems to respond much more quickly than other tuners I've tried. Easy to use, easy to read, you could actually keep it on while performing if you really wanted to. My new Wittner fine tuning pegs are slipping a bit and this was very annoying during a recent performance (fairly loud noise environment) so I think next time I'll keep this attached until I've the pegs sorted. As well as attaching very easily in a non-marking way, the 'head' can be rotated to an angle that best suits your own line of vision. The tuner colours like traffic lights will help beginners a lot with understanding when a string is in tune, sharp or flat. Beginners might want to wathc they don't drop this as it's so small it might get trodden on but other than that I can see no 'cons' at all so far. Haven't tested tuner live in noisy environment, only at home so far. Haven't tested metronome function as I won't be using that myself. Definitely worth buying. Pleasedp.s. 2 of mine are 5 string violins - so yes, it'll definitely work for 5 string violins or violas that are EADG+C or E+ADGC
