JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Part 1--Phantom Blood, Vol. 2: Volume 2

My son loves these, started to collect the full collection, wonderfully illustrated

With part three having been the only English translated release prior to this, I am thrilled that the first two parts are finally getting an English release. This edition is a gorgeous hardback and features more pages than the first volume originally did (There are three of these hardbacks that make up five of the original volumes). My only regret is that there isn't any inclusion of the original cover art inside. Hirohiko Araki's modern art style featured on the front and back is very different to what it was in 1987, so it would not only give a sense of conclusively owning the original volumes, but would also provide an interesting comparison of how the manga grand-master has evolved.

My grandson wanted this as he watches the series, he read the book from cover to cover that's a ten if you can get him reading

Really good story by one of the most iconic mangaka of all time, this series is a masterpiece and the story really starts to take off in volume 2, quality of the volume is superb best quality manga I've purchased in a long time. Strongly recommend

Let me start by saying I adore jojos bizarre adventure.it has amazing,creative art and a great story,perfect quality on the pages but on some pages the ink is coming out of the panel barricades,or is just too prominent.i would have taken this as a stylistic choice but the text and border-breaking said otherwise.apart from this fabulous work araki.

Good story and art, Great for collectors. Comes with extra information pages explaining the authors choices.

An amazing volume. This is when the Phantom Blood story starts to get into overdrive. With some nice color sections, this book covers the storyline from the vaporization of Dio to through the Ripple Training with Baron Zeppelli to the first fight with Bruford (for some reason called Blueford in this book. Copyright?). This just makes me want to buy the next book and complete Phantom Blood/ Battle Tendancy as soon as possible! Also, I hope thy eventually get around to reprinting the rest of the series besides Parts 1, 2, and 3.

Amazon needs to deliver the book properly. Had to return it. Otherwise the manga is very good.
