Good quality and accurate thermometer with a clip into position cover but which has slots in allowing the thermometer to still read the air temperature. Can be safely carried on a pocket. Easy to change display from centigrade to Fahrenheit. Good multipurpose digital thermometer and good value for money. Bought one 7 years ago and it is still going strong with the original battery and is calibrated every year and is always within calibration

Nice one , accurate . simple and easy to clean ( probe) . also the probe is long so can be used on big meat like turkey. would have given 5 stars as felt it a bit expensive than the cheap chinese made one on Amazon

This thermometer is fast, durable and easy to use. I’ve used it in professional kitchens, and seen them get left on the griddle, and it worked even when the plastic gets melted a bit. Never put it in dishwasher, but I don’t doubt it will withstand it, the only times it died on me, was when the battery cover melted a bit and oil and water got inside. For an average Joe it will last a lifetime, in pro kitchen being exposed to hot griddles for 8h a day every day, and extreme abuse it lasted as about a year or two

I bought it as a present. It is faster than mine, and the slimmer tip does not conduct away so much heat from smaller items, prawns for example, as my thermometer, making it more accurate. I pre-heat the tip sometimes on mine. It has less features but it can be calibrated, which I cannot do on mine, although mine has not yet lost its accuracy. Also it is waterproof which might save its life if it fell into the sink, and makes cleaning easier.

It's fast and easy to use my only fault is the case/ lid can be bit tough to take off put back on

Does what it does very accurately but the tip is easily snapped as I found out. My fault entirely for dropping it on a stone floor.

Providing to be a well made usable kitchen instrument. Responsive readings and nice pointed probe. Pocketable size a bonus.

Purchased this thermometer to replace a previous one I have been using daily for years. Not only is it accurate and easy to read, it is a maximum recording thermometer that is waterproof, so very beneficial to monitor and test high temperature commercial dishwashers.

Turns off every time you try to measure anything that’s currently cooking. That is, as soon as you hold it over a frying pan it just gives up. So you have to lift the food out of the pan first… kinda defeats the purpose of a thermometer like this doesn’t it?
