5 years - still in great shape
I bought this bag 5 years ago. I wanted a duffle with wheels that would satisfy the carry-on requirements of most domestic and European airlines. This fit the bill, although if you fill it really full you might have difficulty with the airport sizer for carry-ons. It is light weight, has useful side pockets and comes in nice colors. Mine has been through multiple trips to Europe and South America. When I bought it, I was worried that because it was so inexpensive, it wouldn't hold up well. But I have been pleasantly surprised at how rugged and durable it has been. It's a wonderful bag and a great bargain!

Pocket zipper issues
Purposely bought this design that's soft but also has lots of pockets. Unfortunately i have had issues with the bottom side pocket zippers coming open either by unzipping themselves or "popping" the zipper teeth to then allow items in the pockets to fall out. This has happened multiple times when have checked my bag 🥺 it looks like some of the teeth at the turn/corner aren't holding securely.

Perfect Carry On Bag
My wife and I usually share a big suitcase when we travel but airline checked baggage fees keep going up and up so we opted to get two smaller personal carry on bags/luggage. I opted for this and it was perfect. It stows away in the overhead compartments without any issue, The side pockets are a good size. I was able to fit everything I needed for a week trip. I am a big fan of the blue / gray / black aesthetic.Minor complaint #1 is that it isn't as stable rolling as I had hoped, it was kinda easy to get off balance and it would wobble on one wheel but that could be me in a rush since I walk fast and I might have overpacked it some with weight but it was easy to correct.Minor complaint #2 I wish the pocket zippers zipped to the middle so you could lock the zippers together, instead they zip away from each other.I love the blue

Almost Perfect!
Recently used this sturdy carry-on, wheeled duffel bag for a 2 week international trip. I was surprised how much could actually fit into it! The side pockets are an added bonus. On my return trip, had to check it in and was a little concerned. It wouldn't survive baggage handling but aside from some minor scuff marks it returned intact. Love that it folds almost flat when not in use. Also didn't think I would like the color at first but now like it and it stands out easily From other bags. The only two negatives are minor but worth mentioning : the handle doesn't lock in place and the wheels don't swivel so be careful around corners. Absolutely recommend this little gem. Great value for the price.

Ideal for light travel
Follow up -- March 2025I have had this suitcase for awhile now, and have also purchased two more for others in the family. Wanted to let you all know I continue to get asked about it EVERY time I use it. I am not kidding. My parents even bought a pair and use them for their shorter trips. Is it flashy? No, not exactly. But there is something about this little suitcase that literally causes people to stop and ask me where to get one because it is so blatantly sensible. I guess I am an inadvertent one-woman influencer. There’s something about this weekend travel bag / suitcase that just makes sense. Every time I take it on a trip, someone comments on it and wants to know where to get one.I got it as an upgrade from carrying a duffel through the airport as a weekend bag. The size is perfect. Fits easily overhead on a plane. The wheels work well. If desired, you can also use the handles over the long side to carry it like a duffel.I’ve had it for a few months and it’s held up great through about six trips so far.

Not the quality I expected.
Not what I expected. Made of plastic. Too many side pockets. Was looking for something a bit more versatile for travel.

best bag for world travel
We have four of these bags now. They have stood up to travels all over the world. In the last 5 years they have been on small hopper airplanes in South America, Europe, and New Zealand. They fit easily into above-head storage on all these planes. They are tough. They have been drug through the pouring rain, on cobble streets, sat on, and overstuffed by teenagers. After every trip I'm surprised they look as good as they do. We have several versions of carry-on luggage and I have compared them when packing to see which bag can hold the most stuff. These bags win. We use packing cubes to keep things organized so I love the big open space with no annoying compartments. The outside pockets are big enough that I fit my Chaco sandals into the bigger ones and my hats into the smaller ones. I really can't say enough good things about these bags.We traveled to the Ecuadorian Amazon and gave two of these bags a workout. They held up great, they didn't stay wet and took a lot of abuse. They fit well in the overhead of our larger flights. But the smaller planes we took in Ecuador from city to city, they did not fit in the overhead and we had to stow them. My daughter took one of these to Greece and had the same experience. Fine in the larger planes but not in the smaller planes. I had compared this bag to one we had that is a very similar size while packing. This one took more stuff then the other bag so I ordered two of these and I'm glad. No problems with wheels or the handle or the zippers. All strong and worked well.
