This UV bulb works perfectly on timer for our crested gecko. Hopefully, he'll be happier and healthier with some daily sunlight.

We used the Exo Terra 25W UVB bulb in our crested gecko enclosure for the recommended 6-month cycle, paired with a more affordable secondary bulb to balance light and cost. Overall, the Exo Terra performed exactly as expected, with no issues during its run. The light quality is great — it gives off a warm, natural-looking shade that doesn’t feel harsh or clinical. It provided consistent UVB output for the full period, and we had no concerns about effectiveness or flickering. It also fit and worked perfectly with our Exo Terra branded lighting hood, which is always nice when brand components play well together. Build quality seems solid, and the bulb feels well-made, not cheap or fragile like some budget alternatives. That said, after the 6 months, we switched to Arcadia UVBs, which come with a 12-month guarantee and a bit more peace of mind long-term. While the Exo Terra doesn’t promise the same lifespan as the Arcadia line, we still had faith in the bulb’s performance, and for its mid-range price point, it delivered what it claimed. You just need to factor in the need for more frequent replacements. Final thoughts: A reliable, well-made UVB bulb that’s great for 6-month use cycles. If you’re already using Exo Terra fixtures, it integrates perfectly. Not the longest-lasting option out there, but for the price, the performance is more than acceptable. The bulb lasted the full 6 months without blowing.

Die Exo Terra Reptile UVB 150 erfüllt genau ihren Zweck. Seit dem Einsatz der Lampe geht es unserem Chamäleon wieder deutlich besser, was für mich das wichtigste Kriterium ist. Die Lampe funktioniert zuverlässig und macht einen soliden Eindruck. Fazit: Wirksame UVB-Lampe, die hält, was sie verspricht. Klare 5 Sterne.

I guess birds are reptiles, never mind. Bird uses it to sun bathe, he loves it. Replaced old one after 6 years (Not due to it not working, just because i believe UV lights only last so long with full UV power)

Globes are normally meant to last at least 6mths by past experience. This lasted 1 month at most and is gone.

Je l'utilise pour mon aquarium pour ma sternotherus carinatus qui est encore petit et qui a besoin de UV pour sa croissance. Elle chauffe en même temps l'eau. Cette ampoule dont j'avais utilisée il y a longtemps pour ma tortue de Floride qui est maintenant en bassin depuis 7 ans avait cassé j'ai voulu absolument la même pour ma juvénile et franchement au magasin le prix était élevé par rapport à Amazon et pourtant c'est la même. Bref pour te dire que c'est une excellente ampoule.
