Q: Why is this so expensive? A battery for $359?

First off this isn't your run of the mill cell phone Lithium Ion battery. Its a newer LiFePO4 battery which is much more stable and longer lasting. As a result, you don't need to worry about this thing bursting into flames like we've seen with Li-ion batteries. (Google it. You will see news stories about it all over the place.) There is also the fact that that recharge cycles it can handle is much higher than your normal Li-ion batteries. 2000+ vs 500. Secondly, there are smarts in this thing beyond a simple battery pack that you can pick up to charge your phone. As mentioned in the specs you can connect to it with a Bluetooth app and monitor its charge rate, discharge rate, etc. Short of it: The battery is a higher quality than some. Since this is usually hardwired into a car and its main battery this is one instance where going cheap is not a smart move. Note that I don't work for these guys. I've just been doing my research after my Thinkware camera drained my battery. I've been looking for options like this device and this seems to be the better ones on the market.

Q: Will this work with Nextbase 622?

You would need the socket output cable to connect with your Nextbase—this spliced Thinkware version is only compatible with the Thinkware dashcams.

Q: can i use this battery for the Waynles 360 4G Dash camera

We haven't tried but in theory it would work if you spliced the hardwiring cable included with the Waylens dashcam
