Ok, so this is my second Waterpik, the first was recommended to me by my dentist because I suffered from bleeding gums and regular, expensive and painful trips to the hygienist. After a few tries and getting used to the water pressure, no more issues with my gums. You notice straight away how effective it is, your mouth feels really clean and you can't help running your tongue around the edges as though you have just been to the dentist feeling! My old one packed in and I bought this because it had great reviews. With this being my 2nd Waterpick I immediately noticed some improvements:- 1. The lid is now hinged and no longer falls off when you are trying to refill the reservoir. 2. There is an on/off switch on the implement which is brilliant because that means you can stop the water flow which helps when you need to take a breather. 3. It is not as bulky as my last one and sits nicely in my bathroom unit. 4. The cord is slightly longer so no issues on it coming out, see pics above. This is much more effective than manual flossing because it reaches all the nooks and crannies that you cannot see. I have also introduced it to my 9yr old son who thinks this is a great water machine for now but please ensure the setting is very low at first because the water jet is very strong. As soon as you get used to it you can up the setting as you prefer. Unfortunately my Waterpik developed a fault after a few days and keeps switching itself off. I have contacted the seller and they are sending my a replacement which is great. Don't let this put you off buying a Waterpik, otherwise I wouldn't have asked for a replacement. I just wanted to give you an honest review.

It's refreshing (pun intended) having a product that is designed perfectly in every respect. Easy to use. Easy to fill. Powerful. Looks great. Rugged, giving the impression it will last for years. Highly recommended

Despite using an electric toothbrush I still find I would have to floss to remove debris between my teeth. Often the floss would get stuck or cut into the gum. Because I have several crowns and an implant, my dentist is always telling me how important it is to floss as well as brush! I saw one of these in my dentist's so asked what they are like, got good feedback so thought I would get one. After a bit of research decided it was worth spending a few extra pounds on this model. I would advise anyone to watch a "how to" video on YouTube; I made a bit of a mess of my bathroom on my first attempt! This model is quite bulky, but just fits on my bathroom sink. It has a two pin plug which fits any shaver socket. It is mains operated so must be plugged in to use. There is a good size water tank which you fill with warm water (cold gives you quite a shock!). Several different head attachments, so far just used the standard head, but will try the others. You can store some of them behind the water tank. There is an on/off switch on both the unit and the hand held flosser. This is really useful because you need to make sure you have put the spout in your mouth before turning it on. Pressure is adjustable too, so start low and as you get used to it you can increase it. I am really impressed by how effective this is! I always brush first, then floss. It manages to get everything out from between your teeth, including plaque. My mouth and teeth feel so much cleaner after!

It's the best flosser I've had. The extra option of massage it's just perfect for my new implants. The speed adjustment it's amazing, for those who have sensitive gums it's ideal. It's stops at each 30 seconds, so you know you're not over flossing each side of the mouth. I would highly recommend .

Very good pressure, you can control so if your teeth is dirtier you can increase the pressure to make sure it will be clean. Attachments are great, some doesn't seem to make much difference, but I think it's personal. The pot for water/mouthwash is removeble so you won't make a mess with it. The only thing I didn't know is that the connector is not uk standard, it looks like Italy standard so mind yourself in case you need an adapter for it.

Bought following hygienist recommendation but this product shows extremely bad quality of materials and underwhelming performance of functionality. Very noisy and way overpriced, this product as it is should not cost more than 20 pounds (at max!). There is no fancy or cutting edge technology in it that justifies the price label; a little motor and a piece of cheap plastic, that’s what it is. Even the design is outdated but Waterpik somehow keeps monetising with it. Returning it.

Only had this a few days (as a Deal of the Day) and I'm impressed by how much "stuff" it blasts out of the gaps in my ageing maw. The build quality feels cheap to me, very cheap. Creaking plastic, rattling motor and an unnecessarily stiff tube from main unit to flosser, the latter making things a bit more awkward to move around your mouth than necessary. The plastic feel and rattling doesn't inspire hope for its longevity, but if it last a year, I'll be both surprised and I'll update this brief review with positivity. In terms of usage, I find the default "middle" power setting to be best. I'd really avoid sandblasting on the highest setting! :-) So: 5 stars for doing the job it was intended to do; 3 stars for apparent build quality (although I may be maligning it unfairly). Edit: 5th May, 2020: It lasted more than a year, in fact it lasted 16 months. However it "died" last night. You plug it into the shaver socket and the two lights flicker like they are shorting out and that's it, it won't turn on. I stand by every point of my review above: it's great at removing stuff, but it is a cheap and nasty build quality. I've ordered another because I can't see myself without it now as part of my teeth cleaning regimen. Let's see how long the new one will last.

Best thing I bought in a long time ... I'm just annoyed that I didn't know about water flossing sooner ... would've definitely visited the dentist far much less if I've been water flossing On the product it is very tough and controlling the pressure is great ... I'm glad I bought this one cause it has a big tank which is perfect for the amount of flossing I do .... I think it would've been very annoying if i bought the small one cause i wouldve needed to fill several times per session...

Weaker, and more expensive than most portable options out there! Even weaker than some other brands!

Amazing for maintenance after a profesional dental cleaning. Once you try this, you’ll never leave it! The cord could be longer considering plugs are not allowed inside the toilet in this part of the world… I guess that’s the only hassle, other than that, it’s just perfect and won’t take much space in your countertop. Yes it’s on the expansive side, but the quality and power of the machine are great, and you’ll be amazed by the results from the first use. Go for it, you’ll not regret it !!!
