Aqua Dragons Underwater World Dragon Deluxe, packaging may vary

So, I got these, as well as some sea monkeys! These are without a doubt worth the money! Unlike the sea monkeys (of which only one has hatched so far!) I have loads of aqua dragons! The led feature is pretty cool and helps you see them. Overall very pleased, and much better than sea monkeys!

Used bottles spring water waited for a bit to go room temperature the added the eggs then the next day could already see little white dots swimming. The picture is only of day 4 and there is loads I'm hoping most of them survive to adult size but I was only expecting a few to hatch so I'm very pleased so far. Tank is a little small I know they don't grow to big as have had brine shrimp before but other than that decent little thing lights up which really makes them pop in the dark. I've bought these for myself haha for something to do and find them relaxing to watch but would be an amazing gift for a child or adult alike me.

This was a gift for my son's 8th birthday and he was thrilled! He loves all creatures and was desperate for a pet of his own but with allergies in the family and a lack of space for large aquariums, this turned out to be the perfect compromise. The light is a nice little feature though more of a novelty. Our eggs hatched and developed well and we were all fascinated with the "aqua dragons". We did however, encounter something of a disaster a couple of weeks in. I've heard of these tanks getting knocked over so when we got ours I blu tacked the base to the surface it sits on. Unfortunately, one morning while running a bit late for school my son swept past a little too closely and knocked the tank with his school bag. The clear plastic part snapped off the turquoise base (which was secured with the blu tack) and the water spilled out along with my son's beloved pets, which were then invisible on the carpet. He screamed loudly in panic, I ran downstairs and rescued what I could (about half). My son was devastated but I tried to assure him we had saved them all 😬 We topped back up with spring water and the little creatures have continued to grow and reproduce. I fixed the base back together with more blu tack and we are now extra careful, but please bare that in mind when finding the perfect location for yours! Overall, we have enjoyed having aqua dragons in the family and they have reproduced well and been easy to look after (as long as nobody knocks them over).

Amazing, I had sea monkeys when I was younger so knew this would be a good gift for my son, never for a second did i think we would have so many aqua dragons, there's hundreds, we have followed the instructions, made sure we used bottled water, made sure the water temperature was at least 20, and feeding and adding air to the water daily. So far the little critters seem to be thriving, the light is a god send as it's helped us see them as eggs and and as they start growing which we would have struggled to see without the light. I'd actually say me and my fiance are probably more excited about this than our son lol, I think he will start watching them more as they get a little bigger, but he does love feeding them.

Bought as a gift and it has caused much disappointment. The packaging box is massive for what you get inside, it looks a bit tacky, but sparked some interest in an 11 yr old. You get the 'aquarium' (15cm x15cm x 3cm), which had a battery compartment for the light, 2 x packets of eggs, 2 x packet of food, 1 x small plastic magnifying glass (the kind you would find in a Christmas cracker!), 1 x food measuring scoop, 1 x pipet. The set up is fine, pretty basic and easy. All you do is add water and add the packet of 'eggs'. I did give this some thought based on the negative reviews and opted for cooled boiled water, rather than bottled as suggested (as far as I'm aware bottled water is de oxygenated). We had a look the following day, but even with the light (which is blue?) and magnifying glass its hard to tell. Both don't add much to the viewing quality and in the end we sat the aquarium in front of our large fish aquarium to be able to see clearly. There may have been something in there but whatever it was it did not grow and get bigger than about half a millimetre. Equally this could have just been lumps of food. Nearly a month since we set up and two packets of eggs later, nothing. This seems to be a bit of a hit of miss product, but where kids are involved it can be an expensive mistake. I remember having Sea Monkeys as a kid and they were great, but funnily enough this set got better reviews. Off to Google Artemia Brine Shrimp and make a similar set up I was taught at a science fair using a 2 litre bottle, sand, salt, and brewers yeast. I've learnt my lesson, keep it basic!

On arrival my son was super excited we read what very little instructions there were and assumed it that easy! Any way 2 days later tiny little sea monkeys appear as you can see - how exciting! Fed them once we saw them and daily gave air. Fed them again 3 days later more hatched so 2 days later fed them again as per instructions of 2-3 days. Woke up today to ALL of them gone! Had a Google and it suggests food every 7-10 days as the food can create bacteria which uses up all air and kills them via suffocation! So now I have a sad child - so the firm really needs to do better on telling people information as they may just be little sea monkeys but to the person hatching them it feels like unnecessary murder. Dare I spend a further £8 on a bag of eggs remains to be seen

All I can say is wow I used to have sea monkeys a very long time but they never hatched i came across the aqua dragons kit so I thought i will get one after reading reviews on the product I ordered myself one it advised to put bottled water into the tank so I did i filled it put the eggs in and after I did that they hatched i have over 200 little baby dragons swimming around the tank comes with a blue led light to see them better at night i cannot wait to see how they progress over the next few weeks this is a must for kids and adults 🙂

It doesn't work and there was no creatures.

Voilà 1 mois que nous avons nos petits aqua-dragon. Au départ une centaine d’œufs ont éclos , casiment invisible à l’œil nu , la lumière bleue permet de mieux les observer . Malheureusement de nombreuses Artemia Salina ne sont pas développées et seule une dizaine a atteint le stade adulte . Désormais ils nous en restent 5 de taille adultes mesurant entre 1 et 2 cm très résistants et qui se reproduisent , en effet de nouveaux petits ont éclos. Nous avons malheureusement eu un incident avec le chat 🙄 , celui ci attiré par l’odeur de l’eau vaseuse a renversé l’aquarium , ne laissant qu’un petit fond d’eau , mais nos 5 petits Warriors ont survécu 😮‍💨 Nous avons recommandé un sachet d’œuf pour rajouter de l’eau avec la bonne quantité de sel , et ils sont toujours vivants. Nous prenons beaucoup de plaisir à les voir évolué , nous en prenons soins , et nous sommes attentifs ( n’oublions pas que ce sont des être vivants) . Il faut vraiment veiller à bien oxygéner l’eau quotidiennement . Il faut être patient et je recommande vraiment l’aquarium avec lumière , car sans celle ci il est impossible de les voir avec 2 à 3 semaines , tandis qu’avec la lumière cela est possible au bout de 48h . C’était un cadeau pour mes fils de 9 ans mais l’ensemble de la famille a fini pas s’attacher à ses petits bêtes 🥰 Je recommande pour sensibiliser les plus jeunes.

Ich habe das Set für meinen Sohn als Geschenk gekauft und es kam sehr gut an. Wir haben uns sofort an die Aufzucht gemacht und für mein Sohn war es toll mitanzusehen wie die Kleinen gewachsen. Mit der richtigen Pflege und regelmäßiger Fütterung hat es fantastisch funktioniert. Ich kann es empfehlen.

Los típicos sea monkeys, set completo para que los niños y no tan niños puedan criar estás criaturas y ver como van creciendo.

Abbiamo ricevuto questo kit da una settimana e, solo dopo un giorno, abbiamo notato centinaia di scimmiette d'acqua nuotare. A occhio nudo è difficilissimo vederle all'inizio e devo dire che i led aiutano molto, per cui consiglio di acquistare la versione che li include...a luce spenta è quasi impossibile vederli. Stiamo ossigenando ogni giorno, come indicato e dando il cibo ogni 2 giorni e speriamo che crescano tutti! Volevo segnalare un punto a favore dell'assistenza che mi ha risposto via mail quasi subito (in inglese), molto gentili. Ottimo regalo per 2 bambini di 8 e 10 anni che amano prendersi cura degli animali
