PS2 to HDMI Converter Adapter with 3.5mm Audio Output for HDTV Monitor - Supports All PS2 Display Modes

My HDMI port on my PS3 stopped working, so I had to get something else for HD output. I tried looking for component cables, but most TVs these days like mine don’t have component ports. I did some hunting and found this “PS2 to HDMI Converter. This plugs into the back of the PS2 and PS3’s AV Multi Out port, so you can output HD resolution for the PS3. The only drawback is that it needs to be connected to its own separate power source, and the mini USB cable inside is very small, otherwise it’s a superb product! Definitely go for it! Edit: this adapter doesn’t support DVDs really well, at least for me. the image from the DVD appears stretched and not watchable. if you want to watch a DVD, use a regular composite or component AV Cable.

This product works just fine. Just make sure you change the settings in the ps2 when you turn it on with the old av cable. Then off and turn on with this HDMI converter. The image quality is much crisper and sharper. If you don't follow these steps it won't work. I thought the product doesn't work till I searched online about the steps and it worked like a charm. Go for it if you want to play your old ps2 games on your new HDMI TV's

This product is not working at all. I checked it on another TV and the PlayStation was working perfectly.

Packing was good. The device does its job very well and the picture quality is great. Directly olugs on Playstation 2 and you can firecrly connect your HDMI cable. I have a LG OLED 55 inch TV and I can PS2 games on it using this device, look really good.

Chegada rápida. Liguei o adaptador e funcionou na hora e não precisou configurar o vídeo game. Alguns play 2 quando não funciona na hora , é só mexer nas configurações do console que reconhece na mesma hora. Vamos ver até quando vai durar ,mais estou satisfeito.

I'm very happy with this converter. I bought one from a big box store and it worked but the picture quality from the big box store was very dark on the TV, even with adjusting the TV picture settings. I decided to tired this one out and it works great!! The sound is great and the picture quality is great and very bright!! I would have to say is that the only downside is that it plugs directly into the PS2. And the converter is decently long, so the converter adds on about another 4 to 5 inches to the length of your PS2. You would only need this converter if you are to play your PS2 on a newer TV.
