API TAP WATER CONDITIONER

What really sets this product apart from other water conditioners is its level of concentration. I regularly change my tank water using three standard size three gallon buckets. This means I only need to use approximately one ml of conditioner to treat all nine gallons. This is exceptional value for money compared to other products that has required me to use a whole cap full of conditioner to treat the same volume of water. Using the product at this rate means it’s going to last me a very long time. The added bonus of the cap having a 1mL indent really helps me measure out the correct volume of conditioner each time.

This is great to soften and remove chemicals from tap water before I water my houseplants, they all look so much happier and no brown tips.

Seems effective. Fish still alive! Excellent value. I would like to see a smaller spout to make measuring small doses easier.

A good price easy to use and measure

This is such phenomenal value that it's untrue! I pay £6-£7 for a 120ml bottle. This works out so much cheaper, and the bottle is so big that I imagine that it will last me a year or so. The top cap isn't clearly marked with small dosages though, so it's hard to use it for small water top ups, but that's a small gripe and it's not the end of the world. This bottle treats over 35,000 litres, it instantly removes chlorine, neutralise chloramines and detoxifies heavy metals in tap water, which can kill the fish in high enough doses. The only bad thing I can say for this is that it does create ammonia, as it converts the chlorine to ammonia and that's how it makes it safe, but that's a small trade off for safe fish and water changes. I really couldn't recommend this stuff enough, I have been using it for years now, I don't even remember a time when I didn't use it. It's very cheap on here, lasts forever and it does the job perfectly. Excellent product. Tip: Use the cap off the smaller 120ml bottles to put on this big one. It will allow you to drip it in rather than using the very inaccurate measurement top that comes with it, as the mesurements don't go down low enough for even my 400l tank. The old lids let you count drops which is much easier. If you don't have one, get yourself one! It will make your life much easier. I think even the tiny sample bottles use the same size dripper cap which you can get at pets at home for a few pounds.

you need just 1ml per 38 litres, I add the 1ml to my tank and top up the 38 litres from my bucket. the other stuff I was using I had to measure out 1.5ml per bucket and my buck is just 5litres so thats a lot of measuring and a lot of opportunities to forget. I was adding it to the buck et the start but then go over with the temps so then switched to adding after and then I'd forget if I'd added it. So now adding it to the tank as soon as I drained the water is great. There's a lml (as well as 5ml and 10ml) measure in the lid which works surprisingly well.

Love this product. Economical compared to others due to high concentration. A bottle will last dor years or more in my 20galon aquarium

I dilute a tiny bit of this with water and fertiliser in a bottle and water my plants with it. They are doing good so I suppose it's doing it's thing. I haven't noticed any browning on my marantas so far so that's great. I also use this to mix up with tap water for carnivorous plants as well and they're fine too.
