This amazing, simple tool is one of the few things I cannot go without in my kitchen. It is by far the best way I, my mother, and my grandmother before her, have found to cut butter into flour when making all kinds of pastries. I have used the same one since I was married, 24-years ago, and my mom still has the same one she has had since I was little. I recently bought another here for my daughter, as she is getting married soon.The cut is sharp and the handle sturdy. In addition to using for pastries, this “circle cutter,” also makes round sandwiches for kid’s lunches, and is perfect for chopping everything from hard boiled eggs to nuts, chocolate, berries for jam, and pretty much anything else that needs a quick chop in the kitchen.Yes, I have a food processor, but this tool is used far more often. It is quick, simple, works great, and easy to clean.

I got this to make potato salad, works so well to cut up potatoes quickly and easily to just the right size.

This is much more than a biscuit cutter. The cutting blade is sharp and the handle sturdy enough to use it for chopping nuts or vegetables. I like to put my nuts in a bowl (plastic works well) and chop away. Putting them in a bowl keeps them contained. Of course it also does a fabulous job at cutting biscuits or other dough. I just bought a new one so I could take my old one with me on a mission and not worry about coming home without it.

Love the simplicity of this, have used one for years and buy as gifts.

We bought this for the sole purpose of cutting bisquits... which it is perfect for. but I would not buy this to be a food chopper... it's a little flimsy for that.

Love the sturdiness and timeless design of this easy-to-clean food chopper. It's most handy for chopping nuts and salad sandwich filling ingredients, and cutting fat into flour for biscuits, pie crust, or similar. It's often my first choice for chopping ingredients vulnerable to overchopping - a drawback of mechanized, high-speed food processors. Everyone setting up a household should keep one handy!!

This was the ONLY tool my mom ever used to make home made strawberry shortcake. It’s perfect for chopping berries and I’m also going to use it to chop my eggs for egg salad.
