Great Stuff!
I have a Yellow Naped Amazon that was a plucker. He was a rescue bird and a very nervous bird. When we have company or a lot of excitement going on around us, such as weather change he occasionally starts to pluck again. And we use this for those situations. This is also our go to for the times when it is too cold to shower him during the cold winter months. It is very dry and arid where we live. It gives the bird a nice sheen and makes his green color more vibrant! During the winter months this is a must have for us! I am a repeat buyer! Great price, great product! Overall I am thoroughly satisfied with my purchase. I highly recommend this product. Thank you for taking the time to read my review. Have a great day!

As a product for birds
The mist from this product is so fine that it does not get past my bird's feathers to his skin, (which seems to be itching him), so it doesn't really work for my purpose. Might work for a bird who had plucked himself bare, however.

A good product
We are using this on our lovebird. I cannot say for certain, but I do think it helps with skin itch and feather plucking. He was doing a lot of small are plucking and we have gotten him to stop this behavior, using this spray as one of the things we do. In any case, I do think it soothes him after i spray him lightly as he seems to be very calm and comfortable having been sprayed. In any case, it doesn't hurt or harm.

Wasn't what I hoped
Thought it would be good for my parrot.....he hates it and it didn't stop him from chewing at himself. Made his feathers gummy.

Not sure yet
Not sure how I like this- I got it for my bird who developed a bacterial infection and is very itchy- I use it on gauze to clean the itchy spots, It is very thick and I can see if I used it as a spray it would accumulate on the feathers so you need to use it very lightly. One of my birds I sprayed it on did not like it and did his best to scrape it off so I will not be using it on that bird again

works wonders on dry skin!
I have one cockatiel that plucks year-round and it gets worse in the winter. The other 2 girls get dry skin during the winter months. My vet recommended use this daily or every other day as a 'spray bath' to remedy their dry skin and plucking. It took awhile for them to get used to the spray and smell, probably around ~2 months of spraying once a week to every other day. Now they LOVE it! it really has improved their skin, they are not so dried out anymore, and Shadow's plucking has indeed gotten better. She is not completely cured but it is a start! :) I only wish they came in a larger bottle size!

Doesn't work
I ordered this because we have a bird that's been plucking her feathers. I've been using it several times a day for quite awhile with no apparent results.

Was recommended by our avian vet
Was recommended by our avian vet. Seems to soothe our feather-plucker well. Directions say to "keep out of eyes"; which is next to impossible with birds.
