Q: How small is the receiver as need it to go into small bix and what is the distance reached?

The receiver is tiny about 20 X 30mm Not sure of the distance but being 2.4g should be good for 100m+

Q: will it work with any servos?

In a word 'yes'. I use my 2 sets with any make of servo.

Unfortunately not. I have just looked at mine and there is no external slot to support that type of transmitter.

Q: what batteries does the receiver need?

4aas but I don't recommend this tx. Steering trim is not reversed when steering is reversed so trim becomes opposite.

Nice transmitter

For the money, can’t go wrong. Transmitter is a nice size and considerably smaller than Kyosho and HPI RTR bundles.

when you reverse the steering direction, the steering trim direction does not change

With the steering set to reverse (as required by many cars with servo in upside down or on other side etc.) the trim control still goes the normal way, so to adjust a car that is veering to the right you have to turn the trim left... this is very confusing when you want to make quick adjustment whilst driving.There seems to be noise between the throttle and steering , in some circumstances when you steer the throttle goes forward a little ..cheap and less cheerful !

Servo for the rudder is not working, have tried several different types and brands.
