Family Fun
An hour into gaming with a family of four and we still haven't gone through half of the deck or opened the family expansion box! We enjoyed going for double down on certain poisons. — Some poisons are meh or mild but others are quite bizarre and interesting. Our next session will be parents vs kids.

Great Game to Have!
My daughter and her family has this game and we had so much time playing this we decided to buy one for ourselves. I'm planning on buying this to gift it to a bestie of mine.

Very Interactive Party Game
This game reminds me of a fusion of Apples to Apples and Herd Mentality. At the beginning of each round there is a new judge, and the judge gets to select the A and B poison cards, but instead of the players (“pickers”) explaining their choices the judge defends the choices they selected and tries to make it as difficult of a decision for the pickers to select which poison they would rather have. The power belongs to the judge, so they must choose the A and B poison cards wisely and be strategic with how they defend each card because points are awarded based on the pickers. The more pickers who select the same poison are awarded points and if all of the pickers select the same poison the judge loses 2 points.Pick Your Poison is a fairly simple game to pick up and begin playing. There is a higher level of interaction, communication, and strategy as it is necessary for the judge to defend the scenarios they selected to make it a more difficult decision for the pickers. This is one of those games that needs to be played using the point system so it keeps pickers, and especially the judge, thinking and they do not get complacent. There are times when one of the poison cards is a clear winner over the other one, but if a judge is able to argue for both and do it well, where they do not over-convince one card over the other, it really turns the tables with how the pickers will decide. The judge has control in each round, but it’s funny hearing the immediate reactions from the pickers as to which poison would be worse. The judge can cleverly use this to their advantage to convince them that both poisons are equally bad. This version comes with the expansion which adds an extra 100 cards to the deck. The game is recommended to be played with 3-10 players. I believe the more players, the better. It’s a party game, it is not meant to be played relaxingly or quietly, so once everyone gets into the groove of the objective and starts interacting it becomes an enjoyable game with lots of laughs.

Fun game for the whole family
As a foster parent and the host of many gatherings we enjoy playing games as a family, this game is perfect. It’s not a long drawn out game so can play a fast game or multiple times in a short period. The kids even enjoy playing it as well!
