A very simple and clever idea. Fitted this under a breakfast bar with a four gang socket inside. A very best and tidy solution

The box I received was smaller than the advertised measurements and I needed it to be that size for the placing I wanted. 3cm smaller and the insides measured 28cm by 19cm and 10cm deep It is well made and looks good, if it was always made those exact advertised sizes would be better and deeper to allow for those big plugs. I’d buy again if they make another size. Sent it back Gone for the taller boxes

My fttp was installed over an old telephone back box and next to a double socket. I needed to move the router to it and the result was an unsightly mess. The design of the box is very good, it was just big enough to cover the outlets and just big enough for the extension strip and transformers. The back panel is perforated and I was able to cut out the area required for the sockets with a jigsaw (B&D Scorpion). The build quality is just about good enough. The tiny screws holding the flimsy hinges needed a tiny (Christmas cracker) spectacle screwdriver. The lid feels good, the rest of the box is pretty flimsy stuff, easily cracked if you need to make cut outs. My extension strip is held up on one 3.5 16mm screw. It needed careful pre-drilling as it would have split the fibreboard otherwise. I am very pleased with the result.

This is just what I was looking for. I live in a 1960's bungalow which has hardly any sockets. Getting power elsewhere means ugly trailing wires or power towers left around. Now I can hide them all away and it's so much tidier! Eventually I will use trunking to hide the wires coming to and from the cable box. I screwed it in with extra screws straight into the wall. The design is really well thought out and makes using it super easy and practical. It's also nicely built with real wood and looks sturdy enough - although I wouldn't put any weight on the hinges as they're tiny and won't support much weight. All in I think this is a really good product.

This box was the only size that would fit between my telephone table and radiator..looks good..very well made..you can’t fit a five plug long extension lead in there so l brought a six plug square extension which works better..because I wanted it to sit on it’s side l had to tie the extension in the centre of the box through the ventilation holes..works a treat..keeps all the cables out of sight..a little on the expensive side but it’s the only one that would fit my space..would recommend
